Happy Father's Day Coffee!

Had my black decaf this A.M. along with an omelette (well, 1/2 an omelette).  Not sure what all we'll get done today, but know what I would like to get done. We'll see how hubby feels.

We passed a small milestone yesterday.  I actually put Western down for a nap in his crib, upstairs in his bedroom.  This is a first, as he hasn't slept in his room, at all, since he's been born.   It's good exercise though, as I run up and down the stairs constantly to check on him, despite wearing a monitor!

QOTD:  My dad passed away 13 years ago, the day after Father's day (June 17).  He was 56 and died from complications from a heart surgery.  My dad was a brick wall....physically....healthy and strong.   He ended up having a torn aorta that was repaired with a very tricky surgery, but there were other complications after the fact.  It was a shock for everyone.  So Father's day is hard.  But this year, we have a special reason to celebrate Father's day as this is AJ's first....after so many years.   Plus, I have a great father-in-law, so while I miss my dad terribly  (I was daddy's little girl!), I have many blessings in my life to celebrate and make this day special.

LOVING THE WEATHER!!  Enjoy the day!  Tina

Good Afternoon All!
We are having dinner at my parents this afternoon - thought I would sneak away and say hello.
QOTD- My dad is wonderful, he can fix anything and makes furniture in his spare time.  All we have to do is draw a picture and he can make it.  He has always been the one to say " I love you" and always a hugger . . he is the best.  He took a bad fall a few weeks back and it's very hard to see him slow down. . . he is used to golfing 4 days a week during the summer.
Have a great afternoon!

Hi all!  I had a Kalua/vanilla protein coffee this am.  Than we did the Father Day rounds.

QOTD;  I think I "met" your Dad.  Was he driving about 12/14 year ago??
