Happy Father's Day Coffee!
Good Morning Michigan,
Thought I'd post to wish all of our Dad's a Happy Father's Day. May you have a great day in your honor!
What's the Father's Day wake-up this morning? The same 'ol for me-decaf and black. Having my kashi and greek yogurt right now.
The wedding was so lovely yesterday. The day turned out absolutely beautiful as was the bride!!
QOTD-What about your Dad? What kind of Dad memories do you have? My Dad was never very close to me till later in his life. He worked hard to provide for all of us. He loved to tell funny stories and play his harmonica. He drove truck and his CB handle was "Big Dutch" He had a soft spot for children, especially his grandchildren. He seemed to be a "kid magnet." He loved to come to my house and play with my dogs and have a good dinner. He's been gone for 4 years and I really miss him. So I wish him a Happy Father's Day, too!

Good Morning Deb and everyone-
Drinking water right now. I'll move on to flavored stuff later on.
Going to a big Polish wedding shower later, so that should be fun.
QOTD-My dad is a cool guy. He does have some issues, but when you look past them, he's the best. He can fix anything! I wish either my DH or my son would pick up a tenth of what my dad knows about keeping stuff up around the house. It doesn't look like that's going to happen, though.
He moved to Florida a few months ago, but I still email and talk to him about once a week.
I also have to give props to my DH. When we met he was 21 years old and I was 28 with two little boys, one of them with some serious health issues. Dave got to know the kids and wanted to make us a family. He calls both boys his sons and is constantly asked how he could love Nick with all of his issues, because he isn't biologically his. Dave always just says "he's my son. It's not hard to love your son". There are very few men in the world that are willing to do what he has done.

Good morning!
Having a mug of protein coffee this morning. It used to be when I said I was going to sleep in .. I'd be in bed until 10am. Not anymore. I was up at 8am and couldn't sleep anymore. Yesterday's easy day of working 5 or 6 hours of overtime turned into a grueling day that lasted 14 hours plus another 2.5 hours of commuting. An absolutely exhausting day for sure.
So today I'm going to counterbalance yesterday with a day at the beach. Should be a beautiful day for it, huh?
QOTD -- My dad is an easy going guy who has a great love for his family. When I was a toddler he used to work at a grocery store and whenever he'd have to stock the Pampers aisle he's cut out the word "Pam" from the box and bring it home to me. My birthday is on Valentine's Day and every year he'd always be sure to bring me a Valentine's Day present totally separate from my birthday gift -- just a little box of conversation hearts usually. A couple years ago he and my mom bought a Harley - I've never seen him happier with his new toy. Today he's gone with mom up north for a gambling getaway so we won't celebrate Father's Day until next Sunday. Shhh... don't tell him but he's getting a new pair of Harley motorcycle boots.
BTW Deb -- my dad's CB handle was Grey Ghost and he'd let me talk sometimes too and my handle was Little Grey Ghost.

Today will be a big day for my sisters and I to reflect on all of that.

Good morning and happy fathers day to the dads.I am having decaf with the works.My dad is not a topic I wish to mention.My husband treats my children as his own and my father in law is grand so thats all I have to say about that.Glad to see the good weather has finally made its way around here.Have a nice day everyone.
