The Grand baby had me up at 7 this am after having me up at 1am.  So the decaf with bennifiber isn't getting it.  That on top of the rain and it will be a napping day.

I'm almost back to normal from the 5 day convention in AZ!

QOTD-I tell my DH we need to leave a 1/2 hour before I would plan to leave if on my own!  Even though, I'm the one blamed for causing the hold up.  I am usually the last one out because I follow up on everything and grab the forgotten.

Morning everyone!

It's been raining here most of the night and all morning.  I actually overslept today because I was up late packing for my trip to NY and with the rian, it was one of those sleep in kind of days....even though I had to be at work!!  My alarm goes off at 6:00 am.  I hit snooze and when I opened my eyes next it was 7:05 !!  ooops.............

QOTD:  I have to admit I'm not so good about getting out the door on time in the mornings.  Mostly it is because I like to get thinkgs done  in the morning like laundry and dishes, hand laundry outside, etc so even though I may be ready I tend to 'do one more thing ' before I leave and that makes me late.

I won't be on till probrably Monday so have a great rest of the week and weekend everyone!  I'm planning on having fun in NY !

Good morning everyone.I am drinking decaf with the works.Had a couple of protein pancakes this morning.A friend at work gave me a recipe. One packet of weight smart oatmeal 1/2 cup of cottage cheese and 2 eggs, just mix and make the cakes kinda hard to flip at first take a little getting used to but they are pretty good.I have to be at work at 6 am so I get up at 430 take a shower blow dry my hair(and the other bathroom things)take my meds pack a lunch and leave.Sometimes I make my lunch and get my clothes together the night before.During the winter I do this more often do to the snow in these parts sometimes my drive is doubled. And thank goodness for coffee pots with an auto start

Good Morning!
Well the first day of my "work-cation" and I slept in with the sound of the rain.  I have the ladder out and I'm ready to paint my bedroom ceiling . . . or maybe after my nap . . lol
QOTD- I have to have everything ready the night before.  I work a swing shift so on the days when I work afternoons I'm lazy about getting stuff ready.  But I always know what I'm eating or a ruff idea, I have to be organized on my food or I don't eat and I don't do fast food at all, of course I don't consider Subway fast food . . . do you?
Enjoy your day . .  stay dry!

Kristy,

What do you eat at Subway?  My nut told me that by now I could prob. handle a 6in sub, but I cannot imagine it....way to much bread for me.

And no I don't think of Subway as fast food.

Edie,

I can eat about 1/2 to 3/4 of a flat bread - they are pretty good.  I'm not a good meat eater but I did have the philly steak & cheese on the flat bread and it was pretty good . .  I usually just do veggies & cheese.  I usually get my dressing on the side so I can eat the rest later.

Thanks for the info on the flatbread, I didn't know about it, I don't think I've seen it advertised either.  So now I'll have to check that out.  I've missed going there since surgery.

I dont think of Subway as fast food either. I can handle a 6 inch but always tend to rip some of the bread off because it can be to much especially at the ends... I love it though because I can pile on the veggies.

Have you tried the new flatbreads from Subway?  I don't know how they measure up nutritionally, but they are thinner and easier for me to deal with than the bigger bread.
