How about "Tuesday Afternoon" by the Moody Blues?
Recycling - yes, we have curb side recycling and I do my part. Well, not always as well as I should, but we have our bin full every week. I get the paper bags from the grocery store and use them for my recycling (newspapers, cans/cardboard, etc). I just wish they would accept styrofoam - it doesn't break down and I hate throwing it in the garbage for the landfills.
We have some places around town where there are HUGE bins sitting where you can take items that are too large, or you just have too much for recycling curbside. Those are great after Christmas when you have all the cardboard from the gifts....
Brenda - composting is real easy. I have a compost bin, but then I've done it just by making a pile and putting a wire fence around it to keep the stuff from blowing around. I used my grass clippings, leaves, deadhead flowers, (no diseased ones tho), especially at the end of the year when it was time to cut back all my flower gardens. Pine needles don't compost, so don't put them in there. Also don't put weeds in it. You can also put food items in it, but no meat - I haven't put food in it before, so I'm not quite sure how that works.
Once you have your pile you need to keep it moist and turn it once in awhile. I just emptied my compost bin - I hadn't done anything with it in about 4 years and was afraid of what I would find - I found some very luscious, black dirt in there that I dumped on my flower beds.

Water for me, but then I am switching to Light lemonade. Yum.
My sister and I are going to do a 5K in september, First one ever for me and Im excited. I got up early and went to the gym before work today. My surgeon told me I wasn't losing anything because I wasn't exercising. Hmmm.
QOTD~ I have been trying to switch some things at our house. Like using washable storage dishes and not using ziplocks, Buying juice in concentrate form and making it opposed to juice boxes for the kiddies etc... Saves on the budget too. Okay, Im going to get to work now. wink wink. :)

I'm not drinking anything at the moment....i've been kind of feeling dizzy today...not sure if it's lack of fluids, protien low, low blood pressure???? Anyways, I just ate some tuna fish and am going to wait a little bit and start pumping in the fluids.
QOTD: I have to admit, I'm bad about recycling. We have curbside recycling but I tend to throw things away I should be recycling.

Happy Tuesday!
I'm drinking water this morning - my last day off before going back to work tomorrow and it looks like it's going to be a nice one. Had Bay City Support Group last night and got a chance to meet Jani, what a nice person. She will do well with her up coming surgery she is already putting in lots of hard work. Jan also had her friend Shelley with her, I hope she will come back to group.
I can't wait for 8:00 . . . GO WINGS!
QOTD- I do have curbside recycling and I have to say I'm pretty good but I'm bad at the tin cans . . but I do use reusable bags at the store.
Enjoy your day!

I hope Shelly comes back to the group on a regular basis. She needs to know that she's not alone in her struggles, and know that sometimes you have to eat things you don't really 'like' to be healthy. I think going to the support group would be
really beneficial for her (and me too of course).
62 more days and counting down!

I wish your support group was closer to me. It was weird tho driving home from Bay City. Once I got onto I75 I set my cruise at 75 and never touched it again until I had to brake to get off at M59. Then I set it again at 75 and didn't have to brake until I got off onto the side streets. The ride home was so easy almost makes me think I could do it once a month. We'll see.
