Here we are, again, another Monday!
Good Morning everyone!
What's in your wake-up cup this morning? Getting ready to make a pot of decaf and black.
How was the weekend? We had a good one. Went to the Art Fair, got some fresh veggies at Farmer's Market. Did yard work.......
QOTD-Any "aha" moments lately? I think of all of those who walked this weekend and  wonder if they find they are faster and have more endurance. I found I can keep a good, steady pace on the bike for a lot longer than I used to. My biggest "aha" is that I can climb hills much faster than I used to.....
Keep your umbrella handy!

Good Morning Deb and everyone else.
Looks like rain here in Metro Detroit.  That's ok, it's not a baseball night for my son, so it can rain.

I'm drinking some sf lemonade this morning.  Not too bad.

My "aha" moment was this weekend while I was away with my family.  I am finally going to let go of feeling like I "should" do things.  Driving around up north, I realized that I don't like those kinds of trips.  I don't like cottages and small towns.  It's just not my thing.  But because I'm a Michigander, and because everyone around me thinks it's the "thing to do", I always went along.  I'm not going to anymore!  And I'm not going to be afraid to tell my family that I would rather do something else.

Ok, I used up my burst of energy to type all that, so I should go and recharge and start working.  Have a great day everyone!

Good morning Michigan.
I'm  drinking peach water this am.    will switch to iced tea later in the morning as I need a caffeine kick.
I'm  heading to fill out tax papers for a kinda maybe job?   I am going to  be on call worker at our local Salvation army store.  Been told will probably be full time by end of the year.   Not my dream job,  but not a bad job either and I only have to work another6-8 yrs so It will be fine.
QOTD   I had an ahhh moment Friday.   I sat in a chair in a crowded Dr's office and there was room for my purse in the chair with me!!    Not a big thing  but I never realized I could do that before,
Have a great wet day everyone

Good morning everyone, drinking my coffee and trying to say dry this am. Wet and more wet around Mid Michigan here at home .

QOTD ... Knowing that you can do it faster and harder and more often then before is a great goal to work at.

I have been there and done that also... Need to ride the bikes more to get that feeling again and again....Biking rocks, so does walking pick up your pace and win your personal goals...

Keep up your goal setting and win for yourself...Have a great day Michigan

HI Deb and All,

I am drinking plain ole water today.  For some reason, everytime I drank my grape koolaid, I got a cough, like I swallowed it wrong.  Maybe it was too strong?

QOTD:  My aha moment was this weekend when I was sitting 'criss-cross-applesauce' on my daughters bedroom floor.  And I was able to get right up without needing help to do so.  Way cool I have to say.

two days with no dog park, i wish the rain would quit for a few days :(

Good morning all!

Finished my chai tea and fake latte.  With all the carb-fest eating this weekend, I'll be pushing water today to flush out that extra glycogen.

QOTD -- I was pretty impressed with my time at the 10k race on Saturday on Mackinac Island.  I came in with a pace of 16:10/minute which is right in line with my typical 5k race time.  And with that HUGE, monster-sized hill at the beginning of the race, I'm impressed my time was consistant with a typical race.

And I'm also proud of how well Kristy did!   She totally rocked!!!

Good Morning . . . hope you have your waders on this morning!

SF Grape in my cup this morning but started out with a cup of skim milk . . I missed that this weekend.

Mackinaw Island no matter what the weather is beautiful and full of interesting people to watch.

QOTD-Making it up the 1 1/2 mile hill  . . aha!  I can't believe that I did it - my first 10k.  I'm new to this racing stuff so I figured about 2 1/2 hours seeing on how it started out almost from the get up hill for a good 2 miles but I shocked myself with 1 hour 44 minutes . .  ya me!  I'm sporting a new braclet as my reward!

Stay dry today!
