Tummy tuck
I think you meant you have BCBS. IF that is what you have, I am in the process of getting approval. I have BCBS. I have a co-worker that also has the same insurance and she got hers paid for. You will have to find the right surgeon though. I have been on a few consults. They all say something different.
One told me, they only cover a panniculectomy, and I would have to pay for muscle tightening and belly button. Another said I would only have to pay for the muscle tightening. I have spoke with my GB doc-he does this as well. I am waiting to hear from him.
I know for a fact that my insurance does cover the full tummy tuck-muscles and belly button. The lady at my work had all this done, and did not pay a thing. I do not want to go to her doc though, because I do not like the scars she has gotten. They look bad.

I have it and it paid for my panni. Not the vertical cut though. that was $800 out of pocket. If you go to a plastic surgeon that does mainly wls patients, they will make sure its covered as they know all of the terminology that is required for the paperwork. my recommendation is dinick or hing at barix. they do great work.
p.s. save your money and get the vertical. it creates the hour glass figure we all want. if not you will be stuck with a "muffin top" and will be disappointed...

I have BCBSM PPO and it covered the panniculectomy part in full. Listen to BM about the vertical cut....I didn't and I really regret it.
My criteria for getting approved was:
100+ lbs. lost for 1 year
Rashes that were documented by a doctor
'Large amount of skin overhanging on to pubic area' (not my words!)
My PS documented all of those for me. Find a doc that is paperwork friendly and you should have no problem.
