Good morning all!
What's in your wakeup cup? Already had two bottles of water as I did two gym classes this morning-spin and cardio sculpt. May head to Starbucks for a splurge-decaf cinnamon dolce latte later.
QOTD-What's the thing to do that you can't get enough of in the summer? For me, it's going to the beach. Can't get enought of going to Lake Michigan and just chillin' on the sand. Summer is way too short.....

My usually decaf with 2 scoops of protein. I also got up and did 30 minutes running on the treadmill this morning! Of course it made me late for work...
I just can't get enough of riding my motorcycle and the warm temps. I just LOVE being outside in the summer and wi**** lasted longer.

My answer for the QOTD-WARMTH! I can't wait for it to be warm in the morning so I don't sit in my office shivering, like I am right now. I love sitting on the couch at night to watch the news and not have a sleeping bag over me. I also love the smells of summer.....cut grass, suntan lotion, BBQ. Oh yeah, and then there is baseball. I guess I don't have just one thing.

PS-is anyone doing the Detroit Free Press 5K walk in October? Early bird registration ends June 30. I think I'm going to do it again.

I was looking at that walk yesterday - I think I'm going to sign up for it. . .
If so maybe we could meet up. I'm hoping to have my TT late summer but that
is still up in the air. I may still sign up for it so I can get in on the early registration.

Last time, I came in 2nd to last in my age group.....I'm a SLOW walker. My son ran ahead of me, finished the race, and then ran back and walked with me!

Of course we have to go to Greektown afterwards....that's the only reason I'm doing it! LOL
I haven't decided for sure, but I believe I'll be doing the half marathon for the Det Freep. I need one in October and I can't do the Brooksie this year... so that's currently my top pick. Unless I can find one near a beach somewhere instead. :-)

I've go****er in my cup this morning. I was a real slacker with the water yesterday so back on track this morning. It's funny how easy it is to get off track and then your whole day goes to heck. But I did get a 4 mile walk in . . oh man that 6 mile race is going to kill me this weekend!
QOTD- The sun, I can't get enough and my wrinkled face tells all. I love to be in the sun - walking, riding my bike digging in my flowers - heck I have a TV in my garage so I can sit in the sun and watch the Tigers play ball all summer. . of course it seems as though on the sunny days I'm here at work. I have almost the whole month of July off so I'm planning on getting my fair share . . . Let it Shine!

I am up and at em.. My day off today.. I am going down to see my Grandma.. she broke her hip the weekend of Memorial Day, 91 years old... and survived the surgery. I have to run errands, and clean house. My DH works late today so it will be a HUGE change for me as I am used to him being home at 3:30.
QOTD: Sunshine and Flowers... I love being out in my flower beds soaking up the sun and making everything look so pretty. I like to go out and dead head the plants, water them as often as they need it, fertilize them and just babyt hem. I know that in the future I wont be able to spend as much time as I do now since being a parent will come first. But I am going to soak up as much as I can.
Brenda: I was up at 4am yesterday.. I was sooo tired by 9pm.. I lasted the day but when the sleepines**** it hit HARD... I hope your day goes well.
