X-post...Dumping..
So I had my surgery on May 26. I was a clear liquid diet at the hospital then at home for two days but I could also have my protein supplements, I use Muscle Milk 100cal. So I went to GNC yesterday evening with my mom to find an unflavored protein I could mix in with my food and I explained to the guy that I just had RNY gastric bypass and couldn't tolerate any protein supplement with more than 4gms of sugar. Anyhow, he offered my mother and I a sample which was yummy then said he mixed it with some 2%milk. When I went home, my pouch was not happy and neither were the rest of my intestines and since then I have been having some diarrhea. It wasn't frequent at the beginning and it isn't now in fact I think I might be over whatever it is. Was I dumping?
It could have been dumping. Take a second to write down what you ate/drank and how much and your reaction to it. It will make it easier to figure out what bothers you.
Right after surgery, I was lactose intolerant. If I had too many milk-based things I would have those same symptoms. It went away about a month after surgery.
Everyone dumps differently and with different things. I don't dump easily, but when I do its from mixing sugar and fat, like with a donut. I get shaky and sweaty and just feel like crap. You'll soon figure out what different foods you can tolerate and what you can't.

As Brenda says, dumping is a bit different for each of us, and what makes it happen can be different, too. I can drink a fruit juice (which seems so sweet) and not have any reaction to it, but 1/2 of a muffin and I'm on the couch shaky, nauseous and feeling like I need to sleep. Keeping track, keeping a food journal, for a good few months will really help you figure out how your new tool works best.

Sounds more like lactose intolerance than dumping. It is VERY common for people to become lactose intolerant after surgery. Both my mom and sister are. And I was scared to death I would be too, so I wouldn't touch milk for 4 full months. I used soy milk instead. But thankfully I'm not, so I can drink milk.
My Recipe Index is packed full of yumminess!
