What's in your mug this morning? Will be brewing decaf pretty soon. Just got back from spin. Looks like the day will be better than yesterday.
Want to say "hello" to baby Dub!!! Hope he's giving Mom and Dad some sleep..
QOTD-What does your weekend hold? My daughter is having her first baby shower tommorow. I'm looking forward to it. Have to make a double batch of chicken salad today. Hope to get a couple more flats of flowers in. Of course, need to ride the bike as well.

Morning Deb and everyone else!
I'm at work, drinking XXX Vitamin Water 10 and loving that it's Friday!  I am a rebel today cuz I wore my Crocs Mary Janes and jeans.  I don't even care if I get in trouble. 

I hope Pam E is having a safe trip to OK.

How exciting that the showers are starting for your daughter, Deb.  I love baby showers!  Unfortunately, Dub's was probably the last one I'll go to for a while.  I think most of my friends are done having little ones. 

This weekend I'm getting Nick's pool ready for him and getting a hair cut/color on Saturday.  Also just doing stuff around the house.  I'm going up north with my mom, sis, and grandma next weekend, so I have to get the house ready for the guys to be alone.

Good morning ladies.I am working this weekend need some moolah so I picked up my weekend off.I am off today so hubby and I are paying bills and grocery shopping hopefully I can find some clothes at the resale shops I cannot fit anything I own any more.Brenda where up north are you guys headed.I live near Traverse,Cadillac,and Manistee.Kinda in between all three lol.Nothing in my cup yet.Have a great day everyone.

We are driving from Detroit area to Clare, and staying at a friend's cottage overnight.  Then Saturday morning we're headed to Charlevoix for Saturday and then home on Sunday.

From what I can find online, there isn't much to do around Charlevoix.  If anyone knows of anything, please tell me.  I don't know if I can just hang out with the women in my family.  They are nuts.

People watching is fun in Charlevoix, and of course all the little shops.  Just south of there is a candle shop called the Bullfrog Lighting Co.  Their candles glow from within.  I love their candles.  http://www.bullfrogcandles.com/ 

I know your not much for being outside, but north of town (my guess is 7-10 miles or more) is a walking/biking trail.  It is paved and in some places it has a wonderful view of the Lake.

Stop at the Chamber of Commerce, it's right in the middle of town on the water side.  There is a castle just outside of town where they hold weddings etc.  It's neat to go out there and tour the grounds.  I forget the name of the castle.  Then you could always go north a bit to the Petoskey state park and walk the shoreline and find petoskey stones.  People watching is always a favorite of mine.

If you are looking for a place in Clare for breakfast there is this awesome little cafe off of main street called Herrick House.. they are reasonable... there are antiques everywhere. I loved it.... Try it if you get a chance.

Well I don't know much about Charlevioux(cannot spell).But have fun anywho.I have been through Clare numerous times though.Hopefully the weather will be nice for you.

I'm drinking SF Grape this morning.  Sounds like next weekend is the weekend to be up north. Pam T and I will be walking an 8k on Mac Island on the 6th.  Brenda - I love Charlevoix - I love to people watch there. 

QOTD- I'm working lots of overtime this weekend.  I'll be home tomorrow night in time to watch the Wings play.  I do have a few planters yet to get to so they are on my list.  Deb enjoy the baby shower.  . . and everyone else hope the sun shines for you this weekend!
