Good Morning and Happy Memorial Day
Just thought I'd post a "Good Morning" to everyone regardless if you are off on this Holiday or have to work. The DH is getting ready to go to work. That's what you get when you are in public service-working holidays and weekends... What's up for your day, today?
What's brewing this AM? Coffee later for me. Going to the Dog Shows with the elder son in a few minutes. Have to check out the Bullmastiffs......
QOTD-Holiday related question. Do you have a serviceman or woman in your family, veteran or otherwise? Or were you in the service? What branch? My Dad was in the Army in Germany post WW2. My youngest brother was in submarine duty for the Navy. The husband was a Marine during the Vietnam era. Thank goodness he never got sent to 'Nam. The eldest son is in the Air Force Reserve and going "active" for awhile in Texas for advanced training.
God Bless all our Service people!!!

Good Morning everyone!

It's cold in here today.....pulled out the old fleece bathrobe this morning.

Not drinking anything yet, but will get some form of flavored water pretty soon.

QOTD-Grandpa and Dad in the Army (both went to Germany) and my ex was in the Army while we were married.  He went to Desert Storm while we lived in Germany as well.  Oh yeah, and Tina and I lived in NC at the same time......our DH's were both at Ft. Bragg!  Small world, huh?

Hope you all have a great day.

 Good morning all!

Looks like its going to be a beautiful day and I want to spend as much time out in the sunshine as possible.  I've got some pots to plant and weeds to pull.  And the chair on my paito is calling my name.  I'm so glad I have a laptop so I can do my homework outside today.

I'm heading to Flint to meet some girlfriends for lunch at BD's Mongo Grill today - YUMM!!!

QOTD -- My grandfather was a WWII vet - Purple Heart and 4 Bronze Stars.  He died a month ago today and I'm missing him today.

Have a good day all!

Good Morning All!

What a chilly morning . .

Hot tea for me this morning.  My son and grand-daughter came home early from up-north so I'm enjoying their company this morning.

QOTD:  My dad was in the Army, my son did four year in the Marine Corps with two tours in Iraq.  I thank God everyday for all he did and the service man and women past and present.

Have a beautiful day!

Hi Shannon,
Just got back from the dog shows. It wraps up today. But, it is a major AKC event that goes for four days the fourth weekend in May (usually Memorial Day). It's held at the Kalamazoo County Fairgrounds and it is called "Apple Blossom Cluster" They have another show in GR in November, I believe. A lot of Great Pyr's. Everyone likes this show 'caus you can get a lot of points towards your major. The Great Lakes Bullmastiff Asso. held a sweeps this weekend, so there were almost a hundred there.  We love watching all the breeds..
