Good Morning everyone!
Did you get awakened by the storms that moved thru last night? Heard 'em and went back to sleep.
What's the wake-up juice today? No surprises here, just decaf and black for me..
QOTD-Saw this question in a magazine and thought it was good.. So here it is:
What is the best thing that you have that money cannot buy? I love th voices of my famiy and friends. It is so nice to pick up the phone and hear their voice, especially when I make a trip for work. The thing I miss about my mom, who is gone, is talking to her and hearing her voice.
Well have a good Thursday all my OH buddies! Off to the gym in a little bit and then back home for some work.
Take care
Deb

I was up at 3 am with my dogs because of the storms.  They're not afraid of storms, they want to attack them.  Whenever it thunders or lightenings they get all excited, barking, yipping and just general brats.
The best things I have that money cannot buy are first my family, then my senses.  The sense of smell, to smell the freshness after a summer rain, the sense of sight to see the beauty in the world, the sense of touch to feel the softness of a baby's bottom, the sense of hearing to hear the spring peepers and know winter is over, the sense of taste to...well we all know that got us into trouble.
Memories are wonderful.
Good day to everyone.

Good Morning!
I am drinking water, but this morning I wish I was a coffee drinker so I could have a little caffiene help.  The dog woke me up at 3:30am.  I don't think she was scared, more like she just wanted to make sure my car windows weren't down.

The thing I have that you can't buy is people that actually care about me and my family.  We are looking for a caregiver for Nick for the summer and the girl we have now just doesn't really CARE.  She shows up, but it's just a job.  I wish I could find someone that loves my son and enjoys being with him.  It's really a nice feeling to know that friends and family love you no matter what.

PS-Thanks everyone for the wishes for Nick.  He had a great day!

PPS-I am planning a trip to either Charlevoix or Cheboygan with my grandma.  Any travel suggestions you have for either area would be greatly appreciated.

i don't know if the thunder bypassed me or if I just slept through it.  I know it rained overnight, but I didn't hear or see a thing and actually slept better than usual.

The one thing I have that is priceless is the love of a few friends and family members, especailly my daughter and her five year old step-son.  They make it worthwhile to keep moving every day.

How was the Barney cake, Brenda?  Did Nick enjoy his party?  And Deb, give us an update when you can please.

Brenda,

Looks like Nick had a great B-Day
It takes a very special mom to be blessed with a handicapped child.

          Keep up your good work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Judy and everyone,
Thanks for thinking of me. The interview went really well yesterday. The recruiter said I have an "exceptional" resume for the qualifications they are looking for. She is forwarding her interview to the hiring manager and I should know more next week. This is a new venture for the company, so it will be fun to be a "pioneer"of sorts
It is a job so much like I'm doing now, working from home and travel to customer sites. I was afraid that it would be a relocation job, but it seems not....
You just never know who you are competing with, so I don't want to get my hopes up too high....
Thanks again

Good morning Michigan!

I slept thru most of the storm last night, we have washed out roads and intersections this morning.  It was a fun drive to work :)    Grape Protein drink for me today.

QOTD~ No question for me.  My Family,  Money could never replace these beautiful special people to me.  Growing up we didn't have much, but we always had family and learned early on to value eachother.  Have a great day everyone!!
