Looking for a support group in Detroit

My sister is going to have WLS in August. She has done some research, but as we all know, learning from others is very important. Are there any support groups that meet in the Detroit area? I went to the OH groups section and saw a bunch of groups, but they all had only one or two members. I am in the San Francisco area and my support group, which meets monthly, has 100 members and about two dozen show up to the meetings each month.

Any really active groups in Detroit?

I'm having surgery at Henry Ford Hosp.  I know when I went to my orientation/education meeting (next to the GM bldg on E.
