TGIF
Hey Everyone! I know it is afternoon but I am just getting home from work, lunch with a friend, some errands, a stop at a garage sale and now finally catching up on some emails.
Things have been crazy around here. I was up north this week to help my Mom who ironically had knee surgery on Monday. She is doing well with her recovery and I was able to come home on Wednesday. Trying to get in the swing of things.
The next two weeks are going to be busy. My Mom is coming down next week, Mega Meet on Thursday and then our foster baby shower on Saturday. So things will get busy around here trying to get everything together and visiting with my Mom while she is here.
QOTD: I want to finish getting the Littles room done, we have to do our front stairs, get the bricks on the house painted, and hopefully get a contractor out to work on our backyard. So that is alot to get done. But hopefully we can get the majority of it all done.
My DH's company is making every employee take a week off every quarter without pay to help with the problems in the economy. I hate it since his dept is making money and it is the groups that deal with the big 3 that are suffering. His dept is after market and doing government contracts. So needless to say that will have an effect on what we can get done. Hopefully the contractor for the landscaping will end up coming in lower than we think.

hi everyone I am kinda new to all this I am from Grand Rapids and am hopeful that some day i will get my surgery but for the mean time I am fortunate that I have you all here for support.
I have a lot of sympathy for you Pam I can relate about leg and foot pain I had an accident on the 29Th of December and I broke my right foot and injured my left one now I am going for surgery on my right foot to repair the ligaments and clean up the scar tissue and elongate my Achilles tendon the surgery is for Monday and I am biting my nails with stress because I wi**** was time for my RNY instead I don't have a date yet because first I don't have insurance and second I have to self pay and I can't do that very well not working right now temp disability. I have put on 11 pounds since my surgery and I am real worried i will have problems for the rest of my life.
