I can't believe Shannon posted Happy Birthday to Stacey and didn't throw up a coffee post while she was here.  Sheesh!!!!

I'm at work, drinking water.  It's cold!!!!!

Here's my QOTD-have you suggested to anyone that they look in to WLS?  If so, how did they take your suggestion?

I mentioned to my hubby that he should look in to the band.  He got mad at me and said he can lose on his own thankyouverymuch.  I learned to keep my mouth shut.   LOL

Have a good day everyone!!

QOTD- No I haven't.  I don't know anyone personally that needs it.  I do know of a lot of people in the area that had it done.  Some blew it and others are doing really well.  I stay in touch with some of them for support.  But now I got you guys and my meetings too.  I don't have a lot of family support.

Decaf coffee right now.

My hubby and I wrote a letter to my brother-in-law suggesting WLS.  He's well over 400 and can hardly walk.
He's got three beautiful grandchildren to live for.  We never heard back from him regarding the letter, but he stopped over a couple of weeks ago.  I told him that I was going to have WLS and he was sort of distainful toward me.  He still thinks not enough research (long term) has been done.  he told me he joined Jenny Craig (again) and has lost 40 pounds.  Naturally, I couldn't tell, but he's making an effort anyway.  I hope he does well (again), but this time I hope he can keep the weight off.  Not to be a pessimist, but I've seen him yo-yo a lot over the years.  He's 61 and really needs to do this for his health.  I'm going to be his inspiration!
Hope everyone has a nice cool day today....hopefully the sun will come out.

Bad morning for me. All my coffee and pills came up in the car on the way to work.  I didn't sleep all night worrying about something and I should know this would affect my restriction.

I feel like the poster child for WLS and suggest it to everyone. Most people turn up their noses and believe they will lose weight with diet and exercise "once they really set their minds to it".  Yeah, sure.

Thanks for posting the Wednesday coffee post, Brenda!
I just got back from the gym and the class was pretty intense. But I love the instructor. She really focuses on the "bariatric" crowd to make sure they do things right.
I need to go to the store to get more coffee beans. I ran out this morning. May need to get a skinny cinnamon dolce latte while there.
QOTD- No, I've never suggested to anyone to get WLS. I think if someone suggested it to me before I was psychologically ready, I would have been upset. I don't hide the fact that I did and will share any information about it. I feel it is a personal decision that only YOU can make. My sister could benefit from WLS and she has been with me through my journey. BUT she still thinks WLS  is the "easy way" I hope she decides to do so in the future....

Morning Brendear,

I am eating acorn squash stuffed with ground hamburger, peppers and onions and topped with A1 sauce.  Did I make you throw up a little in your mouth right there?  OOPS.

QOTD:  I mentioned wls to my hubby.  He wasn't too keen on the idea cuz of his love of food.  I suggested the DS so he can still eat pretty normally.  He said nope.  That is the first and last time I mentioned it.  I am not a Forward person, so coming right out and saying have you considered wls to a person is not my style.  Shut up, I am shy.

Afternoon all,

Just had some chicken salad w/ walnuts and grapes YUMMY!

BM your breakfast actually sounded pretty darn good, just not for breakfast.  I'm a breakfast for breakfast person....but breakfast for dinner is good too!  Guess I just like breakfast foods more.

Q:  I WANT to tell people, but would never do it.  I see them struggling just to get out of their car and feel so sorry for them and know how this would change their life I just hope they come to that realization themselves (now, those are complete strangers).  I have suggested it to both my bro in law and hubby and they both have had it done and are very happy they did!

So I guess if I know you VERY well I may broach it, but for both of them I was actually the guinea pig and inspiration, and I'm happy to be it, for anyone!
