Doctor's Scale vs My Scale
When I went for my 6 wk follow up the doctor's scale had me 8# less than my scale! I suppose I should use that scale vs mine. I mean who wouldn't! I guess I just have to minus 8# off my scale everytime I weigh in. Is that what you would do? I can't wait months to weigh in.
Other than getting scopped Friday for a stricture, all seems well. I am having big problems with eating. I quit eating because of the possible stricture. I get sick all the time. Now it has gotten to the point I am not getting enough in. I am light headed, have headaches and I am weak. After the appointment Friday I go back to the dietician so she can help me figure out what to eat again.

I set my scale to read what the doctor's office one did...right or wrong. I wanted my weigh-ins to be consistant, and after 3 years, I still go for my follow ups and know exactly what the clinic scale is going to say.
I hope you get some help for the possible stricture, and can start eating again. Can you drink without problems? If so, try to get those protein shakes in so you will feel better. You'll be past this yucky part before you know it, just hang in there!

My scale & my surgeon's are different also. Theirs weigh 10 lbs heavier. Either way you look at it you still lose the same amount of weight, you just started at different points on each scale. I'm sure the surgeon's scale is correct b/c that's how it is with my PCP also, 10 lbs heavier than my home scale.
