Good Monday Morning everyone
Hope everyone got to enjoy this lovely weekend we had.  Hope Tina had a good baby shower as she gets closer to her due date. I went to "Babies-R-Us" on Sunday with my daughter. WOW what a store. Can't believe all the stuff you can get for the little one.
What's brewing this morning? I'm having my decaf and black while trying to wake up.
QOTD-What was your weekend like? I volunteered for a half-marathon at one of the water stations. It was at the half way point. It was so much fun. We couldn't keep up with pouring water as it was humid and the runners atleast needed two cups. Will do it again next year. Did a bike ride on my own on Sunday,,,,

Good morning Deb.I worked all weekend.Saturday after work with the rain I slept most of the afternoon.Yesterday evening my hubby and I helped the boys with their cakes for the scout cake auction.My boy scout I got to help this year.They usually don't participate but the money raised is being donated to  a little girl with a brain tumor in our area so they want as many as they can get.My oldest made a scout shirt with all the decor and the little one and dad made a campout cake,It was quite fun.Glad to see I will be able to get out to get some cardio in today.Have a great day everyone.

I'm up early enjoying my first cup of coffee I wont have time for anymore this morning.I'm off to the hospital with my husband.He has blood work at 7:30 to see if he can have chemo this week,it's been a month today since he was able to take it.His kidney, his one and only  isn't healthy enough to handle the chemo right now.He has stage 4 small cell lung cancer and going a month without chemo scares the H E double L out of me.I have been doing a lot of stress eating which I have to stop.I do fine all day but at night I 'm constantly picking.N E way I hope everyone has a great Monday,it's rainy and foggy here in the UP,at least it isn[t snow.

QOTD-Let's see.........I went to a baby shower this weekend and got caught in a downpour on 94.  It was kind of scary, but I made it to Chelsea alive.  Yesterday was spent working around the house all day and walking the dog. 

We'll see if I make it through my work day.  I know how lucky I am to have a job, so I am trying to keep my big mouth shut.  Things that are going on in my office are just stupid, and if I say anything I'm afraid they will fire me just for fun.  Ugh!!

I had some reg black coffee with davinci syrup in it.  I think today will be peach mango grean tea.  Its gonna be a hot one so I need to stay hydrated.

QOTD:  My weekend was great.  I went to a babyshower and the dogpark [alot].  I love being able to get up and go without worrying about work and stuff. 

Gussie, I hope your DH's blood work comes back okay.  Good Luck.

Good morning!  

Was a good weekend.  The shower went very well.  Thanks, Deb.  My sister, that lives in AZ, sent the cutest little pair of cowboy boots I've ever seen!  As soon as I find my cord, I'll download some pics!!  The first time I went to BRU, I was a bit overwhelmed!! My new favorite store, tho, is Buy Buy Baby.  It's owned by Bed Bath and Beyond, so it's set up just like one of those stores, only it's all baby stuff!!! A LOT of baby stuff.  

The storm rolled into Chelsea right about the time my guests were arriving or shortly before.  We made my husband and bro-in-law stay until the weather cleared up a bit, just in case we had to make a mad dash to the church (about 20 feet away) with all the kids that were there!!! But they were able to leave because as quickly as it blew in, it blew out.  

Saturday, after the shower, I was completely exhausted, so we did nothing.  Sunday we went to Lamaze and then out for dinner and home.  I was in bed by 8:30 last night.  I had a bit of an issue with achey hips yesterday, but Tylenol took care of it.  

Looking forward to the warm weather, despite the rain.  AT LEAST IT'S NOT SNOW!!!!

My school year is winding down quickly and I have a lot to do before the sub comes in and takes over the last 3 weeks.  Busy!  It's hard to think about leaving them!

I don't think we have a Buy Buy Baby on this side of the state unless it is in GR. Will have to check it out..

Unfortunately, there are only 2 in the state, right now...Canton and Utica.  I think it's a fairly new store, so there aren't too many around!

I'm still waiting for my cord so I can download pics!  Grrrr....

I am drinking water this am.   I'm doing a lot of driving for seniors this am so will want a drink so will enjoy an ice tea tea then.
We had a good weekend.  Did a lot of going on sat doing a few different things with our new fosters and had fun.   Sunday was church   and working on a baby quilt for me.     Hubby and the kids goofed around out side.

All I did this weekend was clean, clean, and some more cleaning lol :) Our apartment was a mess. Oh, and I took the dog out to the park briefly before the monsoon-like rains made their first appearance and we had to leave.

 

I’m drinking Cherry Pomegranate Crystal Light (it’s actually gross but I’m cheap and don’t want to waste the $3 I spent on it so I’ll drink it all til it’s gone).
