Anyone up for a "meet and greet" in a couple weeks?
Hello Michigan! I will be in the areas of Battle Creek and Detroit (Allen Park area to be exact) the 11th-13th......and would love to meet up with anyonw in the area for "lunch". If there is anyone that would like to have a get-together, please let me know.
I am really starting to look forward to moving to the area, and knowing OH'ers just makes the transition easier!
I will be staying in Allen Park (Detroit area) in the evenings. My sister lives there, so I will be able to meet up any time in the late afternoons or evening. I must be in Battle Creek on Monday morning for interviews and housing situation, so a late lunch that day anywhere in the area would be great.
I am open to suggestions, and times and places, since I am not too familiar with the area.
If anyone is interested, please feel free to post away with ideas and maybe we can have a nice visit!

My sister lives in Battle Creek. I call her 'Country Mouse' because to me, Battle Creek is the boonies! It seems like all the action and fun stuff to do is in the Detroit Area. So it's great that you will be familiar with both of them. You can be a little bit country, and a little bit Rock 'N Roll!

I agree, there is just so much more to do in Metro! I have always wanted to live in the Metro area, and being from Western Ky originally, EVERYTHING will be like a wild rollercoaster ride! I am used to it tho, since i would spend my summer vacations in Allen Park all thru my childhood years! I just love it!
