Saturday Morning Java
Hi Michigan!!!
Wow, what a beautiful day we had here in metro Detroit yesterday! I went to the dog park 3x yesterday. I have a nice pink glow on my cheeks now.
I am drinking cherry/pom crystal light right now. Thinking about which form of cheese and pig to ingest next.
My day will include going to a baby shower with my little girl. She is so excited too. Its a baby party! Then after I will probably take El Diablo de Blanco back to the park to visit with his b/f the Rotty. hehe

OMG YES I DEFINITELY DO! I am on the hunt for lamps this year. Every year I try to set a goal to find something needed. Last year was Barbie dolls, and we got a boatload of them.

Good morning!!
It was absolutely beautiful yesterday, and looks to be another beautiful day, today! A great day to have a baby shower! Have fun....we'll miss you (but we'll see ya next weekend....right?).
I thought about taking my doggies to the park this weekend. The beagle needs it and I don't trust her NOT to run away in the woods when we walk here at home. And the mini-doxie...well, he's just old and crotchety...not very social around BIG dogs. He thinks he has something to prove. So, I'm not sure how he'd do at a dog park.
QOTD: I always have the intention to go garage sale-ing (hmmmm...never spelled that word...LOL...it doesn't look right when you "follow the rule of dropping the e to add -ing), but I rarely go. I got into it one summer and went to some but seemed all I found was JUNK. I do keep my eyes out for dressers and the like for extra bedrooms. But I haven't had any luck.
My baby shower is this afternoon. Waiting for my sister to get here, actually. Hubby and I are supposed to go to a movie tonight, but it depends on how tired I am and how sick he feels. Tomorrow is our last Lamaze class. So, it's a baby-fun-filled weekend!! LOL!
Enjoy the day! (I want to open the pool....when are you, Bee? We probably won't tho, till mid-may...goal is to open it before Dub gets here or it may not get opened! FOR SHAME!)

OH such a gorgeous day here! I love these days in spring!! I got up early and got laundry and house work done so we could go play all day and while hubby was out running his errands here comes a social worker with a couple of young teen fosters for us for a few days! I just added to the picnic supplies and they can go with us, might have to include a stop for them somewhere to do kid stuff.

Good Morning guys. Currently I am LATE for getting ready for a baby shower, so I need to get going.
I had my RMR test done at the gym today. With daily living activities I should be getting 1943 calories to maintain my weight. I have been getting 1200-1300. D'oh!
Even I, the avid inside dweller, have to admit the weather is perfect. I took the dog on a super long walk last night and it was great.
Ok, as usual, I have a Debbie Downer answer for garage sale-ing. I don't like it. I hate touching other people's gross stuff. Now I will go to a flea market, and occasionally I will stop at a sale if it looks good, but really, I don't like it. I do collect vintage jello molds, and usually this is the only way I can find them. But in general, I think they are kind of icky.

I hope you girls have fun at the baby shower. It sounds as if you are getting antsy Tina.. no time now and you will have Baby Dub here... My shower is in 2 weeks and I cannot wait!!!

My Mom said she went up north this week and already got a baby doll stroller for the girls to play with. I like going to Value World for my uniforms and that. I figure it washs... People touch the stuff at the stores too. (I know Brenda is grossed out by this stuff)

We will be liscensed for girls ages 0-5 years... And they say alot of them become available for adoption so we are looking forward to getting to that point at sometime. But we are just happy to be welcoming children into our home.... I have been wanting to be a kid ever since I was a little girl so I am sooo excited... Of course I have my Great Nieces and a Great Nephew now... so they will be able to come and play with our "littles" too.

We are elated!!! It will be fun.. and my friend came into work today and reminded me that I can always give them back! She said as a parent she wishes she could do that sometimes!!! ROFL... Plus I don't have to put on the pregnancy weight or get the stretch marks.
Not that I ever would... but you get the point... LOL
