A friend gave me this receipe...I think you all will LOVE it..I do..and its so simple....

Crack two egss  into a ziploc bag ( not more than 2 eggs)...shake to combine them.
Add a variety of ingredients such as: cheese, ham onions, green peper, tomatoes, hash browns, sala, etc.

mix all together by squeesing the bag.

Place ther bag in boiling water for exactly 13 mins...Open bag and omelet will roll out nicely..

you will be amazed...do not add milk to mixture............Enjoy... Hugs Bev

Good morning Bev,

I made your omelet for dinner last night and it was FANTASTIC!  I eat alot of eggs and this is so easy and there is no clean-up.
Thanks for the great suggestion.

Last time I heard about this I looked into it and found a warning on the Ziploc website .... basically the plastic is not designed to be cooked in and could leach toxins into your food.  Not sure if it's still valid, but worth looking into.

we do this recipe too, but we use food saver bags which are designed to be heated.  works great and you can pre-make them and just toss them in the fridge or freezer and grab them out as you need them :)

Sounds great!!  Silly ? though, do you boil  mixture   for 13 mins or do you bring water to boil turn off and place bag in water for 13 mins

you do boil the mixture in the bag for 13 mins....you may have to turn the burner down so it will not boil over..make sure you get air out of bag...Good Luck..Hugs Bev
