Sigh..............

Hello All,  Hope you are all doing well.  Today is Day 4 of a 14 day liquid fast.  I think its a bit better each day., Or I am delirious from no solid food. lol.   Do you think it gets better or worse as the time goes on.  My surgery is set for april 27.   Yikes!!  Lisa

My hubby had surgery 6 weeks ago and he struggled with the pre diet.  He was so worried that if he felt this bad with 1600 cals what was it going to be like post op!  But he's doing great with that, it's amazing how our bodies adapt post op.

I had surgery March 9th and when I started the 2 week pre diet of all liquids by the end of the first day I was wondering if I could make it two weeks, but by the end of the week, I was fine and it did get easier for me.  You can do it! I never cheated once on the 2 week liquid diet pre surgery b/c I was too afraid of my surgery being cancelled if I did...so that kept me on it !  I just kept thinking how hard I workded to have surgery and how badly I wanted it.  I dropped about 19 lbs during that 2 weeks so it's worth it!

I think-at least I hope-it gets easier as your body adjusts to the lower calories and the goal gets closer.  Hang in there, its worth it.
