Thursday is almost Friday!
Good Morning y'all. Today is a day off for me. For a week I've been telling my son that Mom is staying home on Thursday and we can sleep all day! He stayed up all night and then got up for good around 5:30. I can see a nap in my future........
I had a great time with Tina last night. It was amusing to see her eat a cup of soup for dinner and then be too full to eat anything else!
So here's my QOTD-have your sleep patterns changed because of WLS or getting ready for it? Mine really haven't. I've always slept well. After surgery, I had a weird kind of energy where I didn't want to sleep at all, but that went away quickly.
Have a good day....it's almost the weekend!

Morning you two, Glad to see you both have the day off. My too...lol Drinking black and cold decaff this AM.
QOTD..... I sleep a lot better since surgery and the weight loss...Plus I only take 1 pill instead of 9 off them ...
Life is better after surgery
I amuse you? LOL! I ate the bread that went with the soup, too!! And I ate the 1/2 a sandwich about 10 pm. I just spread out my meal. When the baby is resting high, there just isn't enough room in there!!!
I'm heading down to Hillsdale today to see my nephews. Can't wait. We're going to the park, today. I'll be thoroughly worn out by the time I get home tonight!
QOTD: I am not a heavy sleeper. Never was. I rarely took a nap until I got pregnant and became iron deficient. I think I sleep better after surgery simply because I no longer have the Acid Reflux that woke me up constantly. So my 6 hours a night is less disruptive, but I still rarely sleep longer than 6 hours. Now, I just end up napping during the day because I'm pregnant.
Enjoy this sunny day!! Tina

Good Morning,
Today is my Friday and I can't wait to be off for the next five days! I'm planning on getting lots of walking in.
I had my usual cup of skim milk this morning.
QOTD - I have always slept pretty good the only difference now is I sleep on my stomach. I try not to but I wake up belly down every morning. I've tried putting pillows around me so I won't roll over but it doesn't work. Before surgery there was to much of me to sleep that way now it just happens, I don't want it to effect my back . . . you know the age thing!
Enjoy the beautiful sunshine!

Good morning all!
Having a yucky tummy day today. Hope it gets better cuz I hate feeling like this.
QOTD -- before surgery I didn't sleep. I was up every hour, on the hour, either going pee or just being awake to check the clock. I didn't know I was sleep deprived until after surgery. The day I came home from the hospital I slept so deep and so restfully it was amazing. And even now, at 17 months out, I still sleep so well. If I wake up in the night, it's only once and usually because I'm thirsty. Its now a rare occurance that I lay awake at night not able to sleep. If RNY did nothing else for me, I'm thankful for being able to sleep now.

Good Morning All. Every day is a Saturday for me. I can sleep as late as I want most days. Retirement is wonderful (yes, I'm that old)
I have had sleep issues in the past for which my pcp gave me xanax. I only take it if I haven't slept well for two nights. Lately I haven't had to get up to pee, but I do toss and turn a lot and clock watch. I don't think I ever get a real restful sleep so I'm looking forward to that post-op.
Gosh, I remember pregnancy. The most wonderful thing... God Bless You and the baby Tina.
