Please pray for the Durham family

I meet Scott a few days before his lap-band surgery,approx 6-8 weeks ago.He was doing well and had lost 40+ lbs. His diabeaties was getting better and bp was down. He had many health problems.He passed on to be with the lord at age 47.Don't know if it was complications from the surgery or?

Oh wow Carl! I'm so sorry to hear about this. Is Scott someone we know from our support group meetings? Does he have a profile here on OH?

I'll keep his family in my prayers as they go through this difficult time.

47 is WAY tooooo young, no matter what.

Lap Band on 05/25/07

That is so sad-he was so young. Please let us know if you hear anything as to cause, since we know how often WLS gets a bad rap when these things happen.
