Good Friday Coffee
Good Morning on this Good Friday!
What do you have in your cup this morning or are you sleeping late? I was surprised to get online this morning and find that most of you must be making a slower start today. I have a Starbucks Skinny cinnamon dolce latte. So good. I stopped by after finishing a good spin class this morning.
I'm getting so restless for spring. Next week is hummingbird feeder time. They just showed the White House vegtable garden on TV. Can't wait to plant!!!!!!!
QOTD-What's going to grow in your garden this year? Do you have a garden? I have a pretty large raspberry patch which I can't wait to start having fruit late June.. I don't grow much of anything else, food wise, but love to go to the outdoor Farmer's Market on Saturday. The DH and I do mostly flowers

Morning Everyone!
I think everyone is sleeping in since some people don't work today... I am off today...but work tomorrow morning. I have errands to run today and I am going to make my hubby a homemade dinner again today. Trying to get back into trying new recipes again for him. Although he is really picky.
I haven't posted in awhile because I was swamped with getting all of our paperwork ready to go to Lansing for our liscense... Now that is done I can focus on other things...
QOTD: I have a HUGE flower garden between all of my beds. My DH starting growing strawberries and they are already starting to get all the greens. He got them pretty long into the season last year so I hope we have a good crop then... I love being out in the garden though with my flowers. Plus I love the rewards of cutting them and putting them into the house!

Ahhhh....the pressure's off. I was surprised to see NO ONE had posted a coffee thread, too, this morning! So I was thinking....trying to come up with something clever to post. You beat me to it! I did sleep in this AM, but only til 7. Having my Starbucks Breakfast Blend with s/f vanilla creamer and water. I drink them simultaneously...drink some coffee, drink some water. I'm thinking about making some breakfast very soon...maybe when hubby gets up.
I think today will be a house cleaning day. Hubby came home from work last night congested, with a headache and chills. So, I'm trying to avoid him...baby and I don't want it!!!
QOTD: I like the IDEA of having a garden...flower and/or veggie...but have no desire to do it myself! I need to find someone who has no access to a yard and loves to garden. I would supply all the the necessary supplies and they could just have a garden at my house! Any takers???
Ok...while I'm typing this I'm watching the news. They are live at a bar in Detroit covering the fans there for opening day. It's 8:30 AM.....they are drinking beer and what not already!!!
Anyway, ENJOY THIS GOOD FRIDAY!! Tina

I'm with Tina-I like a garden but have no talent nor interest in cultivating it myself. I live in a condo and planted rose bushes last year-am hoping they survived the winter. I also plant lots of pots of impatiens and spread them around, since nothing will grow in the soil under the pine trees here.

Good Morning Michigan and Deb and Suzanne, I'm up before the grand-kids this AM and taking time for my coffee and me. I'm drinking black and hot decaff and looking at the sun come in the windows ... Not to bad of a day ...Going out to lunch with everyone and have a great time playing with the kids WI ...lol
QOTD..... Love are garden and canning all the fresh stuff that comes out of it

I didn't have to work today, but getting the guys ready to drive out to Battle Creek is like a job anyway!
I'm kind of bummed that I won't be able to watch the game, but I'll have it on DVR when I get home.
Those people that go downtown for stuff like sports or St. Patty's day are crazy. How can you drink alllllll day long? Maybe I'm just getting old.
As you may know, I don't do much outside. My DH plants herbs, cucumbers, and tomatoes. We have piles and piles of them. I have gotten really good at making spaghetti sauce, bruscetta, tomato soup, etc. He makes lots and lots of pickles. (Which BM will like later in the summer).
