Hi Edie- I'm in Ortonville.. so we sure are close!  I am a major gardener too-- perennials mostly.. have issues with deer, so I'm hesitant to do a veggie garden- although I would love to!  Have you been to Eastern Market??  That and Wojo's are my favorite places to shop for all things green and flowery!  I started a craze at my church last summer- no one  had been to Eastern Market- so I had to teach everyone how it is done!  Anyways... where bout's in Clarkston are you?

I rarely get to the farmers markets.  I have done Eastern market for my summer flowers, once or twice, but I usually go to Bordines.
