CORI Centers

Hi,
Does anyone know what happened to CORI Centers and where all the medical records went?
I am trying to get a TT, but they want to see my records from my CORI visits along with my operative records. Thanks for any help guys.

Your surgeon appears to be with Lakeland/St. Joseph Hospital.  I would call his office and inquire with his office manager.  Its a start?  Maybe they can direct you further. 

Barix/Dr. DiNick or Hing might be able to help you with your TT without all the background info.  Or their staff may be able to track it down faster?

CORI went out of business-at least in Michigan.  Hopefully your records went with your primary surgeon, otherwise they must be in storage someplace as it would be illegal to destroy them.  You could also try checking with the hospital where you had surgery-they would have copies of the operative records.

Was your doctor still with Dr. Wood when he did your surgery? If so they should have your records or would be able to tell you where to find them.

From my experience, the surgery records are at the hospital where you had your surgery.  I ordered my directly from Harper/Hutzel Hospital. And I do believe all of the office medical records followed Dr. Michael Woods to his new bariatric practice. The other surgeons would not have them, since they were not heads of the CORI Center. He now runs the American Bariatric Medicine Institute.
