Hello and Welcome! I am too from the U.P. and had my surgery 12-15-08 by Dr. English. I had the VSG done and love it! I see you are planning on the RNY. I personally know people who have had either surgery and they are both successful if you work them right. I wish you the best, Dr. English and his staff are excellent. Hi Amanda. I am also a patient or will be a patient of Dr. English. My psych eval is May 6th. I also still have to do the multidisciplinary day as well. I am going to have the VSG done. I have heard nothing but good things about Dr. English.

I have a few friends now that have had RNY with him and are doing great!
To be honest I am a bit scared too. But I know it will be worth it in the end.
