April Fool's Day Coffee

Road trip to Pinconning!!!!!!!!!!

We have gotten the horseradish cheese sliced at the deli in Meijer.  I think we get it from our local market too, but Meijer lets us "try before you buy" at the deli if you just ask.

Most all the stores have free sampling.  They usually have containers all over with cut samples or the spreads with crackers and such. 

Ok, now I want cheese.  7 year old super sharp chedder at room temperature.......... mmmmm tasty.

 

I'll stick with the real thing, thank you.  Love my bacon!

Coffee and green tea are done, and I just finished my carbsmart yogart and fiber one.  I think it is sf apple cider after that. 

My son woke up this morning remembering it was april fools day.  Hey mom - look there is a piranah on the ceiling - april fools as he giggled thinking he pulled a real funny.  Guess it was for a 5 year old.

He is on spring break today and spending the day with my niece.  He thinks she is a cool baby sitter.  They are going to do a couple cool things at the Center for the Arts and go to see the Butterflys at Dow Gardens and then lunch with mom and then go see Monsters vs Aliens.  Sounds like a fun day.  I want to go.

Busy day at work its the first of the month, and lots of reports to run.

Looks like it might be a beautiful day - get out and enjoy it.

Good morning all!

Well... I failed my mission to go all decaf.   I broke down and got my usual vanilla creme` flavored coffee with some vanilla steamer added for a delicious and smooth fake latte.  I just couldn't take the bitterness of the decaf another day.  ::: sigh ::: 

QOTD -- Nope, no pranks pulled on me for April Fool's Day.  I did have a big one pulled on me in college though.  So big, in fact, that not long ago an old college friend found me on FaceBook and mentioned "Joey".  Oh boy!  I have a feeling that one will be with me forever.  hehehe

Come on....like the other Pam, I'm at work up to my ears in first of the month junk.  I need a funny story!

Here's what I'm doing to my class....5th graders....

They are getting an April word search.  None of the words are in the word search, though.  AND they are getting one of those "follow the directions" tests where the first one says to read the whole test first and the last one says only answer #2.  I'm telling them it's for a grade.  I'm sure they'll all fail.  But it's not really for a grade.  LOL!
