I do get mad when I see others in need and DR. offices not wanting to lift a finger to help.  I understand ins and stuff is our responsibility yadayadayada, but really would it have been that tough to say she was leaving early and would not be able to talk to him?  I am in the medical field and I would never ever let a pt. feel "stranded"  ummm whose your surgeon?  you said Krause? as in Kevin?  he is doing my RNY!!!!!!!!!

Yes Krause is my surgeon, however, in Sue's defense when I talked to her yesterday she did sound like she was at death's door, and not motivated to do more than crawl in bed. So when I called this AM it was  Donna that was covering Sue for Krause while he was seeing patients today, and Donna came to my rescue and got it approved for me!!!  Talk about 11th hour, apparently the medical director at my ins wanted to talk to Krause and he wanted to talk to me 1st to get the whole story. So....yea for Donna!!!

However I am extremely disappointed in my Internist, and I will let her know that when I see her in 2 weeks.

But thanks for getting mad w/ for me!
