Got my Info Packet from Henry Ford!!!
Well this may not be exciting news to many but it is to me!!
I got my welcome/information packet today from Henry Ford, now it's becoming real to me that this is what I want!!!
I couldn't wait until I got home to read through it so I was browsing while my son got his hair cut.
My orientation isn't until June 9th but Hey I'm Geeked!!!!!

It is exciting!! I remember going to my first seminar. I came home and read the information over and over and that's when I realized 'yes, this is really what I want to do'. It's the start of your journey and before you know it, you'll be having surgery!

Yay congrats! Looks like we're in the pre-op boat together- I'm going through the St. John system, in Madison Heights.
I'm in the psych eval and (hopefully last) consult stage, so we'll both be post-op before we know it!
At least that's what I tell myself because the waiting is driving me NUTS!

I chose RNY because of the amount I need to lose (about 170 lb) and the success rates.
I'm curious about the dietitian visits you have to do, though- he hasn't mentioned that to me, I wonder if that's a BMI thing, or just an individual thing?
