Good Morning Michigan!
What's brewing this morning? No early workout but will be doing the gym later this morning. Good to get a little extra sleep. The cup has decaf and black. So good...
QOTD-What's been or is going to be your biggest exercise challenge since WLS? I just signed up for the DALMAC bicycle ride over Labor Day weekend. I'm going with some fellow spin riders. It will be a real challenge to get into condition for the ride as it cries hills, hills, and more hills. We will be going 303 miles in 4 days. I've got 23 weeks to train. So I CAN DO IT..
Enough of me..
Have a good one...
Deb

Thanks so much, Randy. Maybe I'll see you at the bridge walk. The ride ends Sunday at Mackinaw City. I'm thinking about staying for the bridge walk.
Keep riding and we can get a gang together for the DALMAC in the future.

Morning all.  So far I have had just a small glass of V8 Fusion to take my AM pills but hope to have a cup of coffee soon.

My biggest exercise challenge since WLS is still consistency-making myself do something several days a week.  I should set a goal, like your bike ride or a mini-marathon, so I would have a specific reason for consistency-as if health wasn't reason enough!

Hey Deb and everyone,
I was so thirsty this morning.  Chugged some Crystal Light and now on to water.
It's kind of dark and dreary outside today.  I wonder if the sun will show.

Exercise is my biggest challenge.  Actually, wanting to exercise.  I have been inactive for 37 years.  My brain does not accept doing stuff it doesn't enjoy, and I don't enjoy moving around unless I'm shopping.  I do it anyway because I have to, but every time I go to the gym or out for a walk I have to talk myself in to it.
Man, some day someone is going to ask a question that I can give a good, honest, and POSITIVE answer to!  Like, ummm.....are you the laziest person you know, or, what's the most miles you've covered while shopping.....or how many tv shows are on your DVR.  Then I will answer with all kinds of smiley faces and !!!!!!
Have a good day everyone!

OMG Brenda - I can totally relate.  I am one extreme or the other.  I'm either all crazy and exercising like a crazy woman or nothing - absolutely nothing.  If I could just have a happy medium.

Had my protein coffee drink, now I'm drinking Skinny Water.  It's pretty good.  First time I've had it.

Have a good day everyone!

LOL, Brenda.  I am right there with you. Maybe the question should be "what's the most creative excuse you have used to avoid exercising?"

Good Morning

Coffee is done along with 36 oz of crystal lite on my way in.  Not sure why I am thirsty today, but oh well.  Got some peppermint tea now and a staff meeting in a few minutes

QOTD - way to go Deb.  I challenged myself to do a 5k walk, which I completed last Sunday, now it is like an addiction.  I have 7 more scheduled, one a month through October, with possibly 2 more thrown in.  My goal is to complete each one faster than the previous.  I started last Sunday with a finishing time of 1:00:21 just a hare over a hour, my goal is to complete the one in October in around 45 minutes.  I also have a bug to start running - not sure what that is about.   I never in my life would have thought that I want to go run.

Dang girl!  7 more races scheduled already?!  Send me your list... I need to flesh out my schedule.  I don't have anything booked after the Tax Trot on April 11th and need to get my butt in gear on this.

My Recipe Index is packed full of yumminess!
