Hi Michaganders,

Whoop!! Whoop!! I am so excited that Friday I found out that my BCN insurance has approved me for the DS and my surgical date is April 14th. It seemed like a forever wait since my Nov. orientation, testing, and two psych evals (BCN requires an independent eval). Thank God they did not find out how "cwazie" I really am! lol.
I will be having my Lab DS at Blogett Hospital with Dr. Foote.
I just posted this recently on the DS Forum too. I hope to share my journey and ask for your support with everyone here!

Lap Band on 08/29/06

Highest weight- 262lbs
Lap band- Aug 2006 - 254lbs.
Lowest w/band 214lbs. .
Gained up to 271 due to the band
Got DS revision April 2010!! Current 145lbs
At 5'8 my goal was 160lbs but I surpassed that with the DS!!!!!!
