QOTD """What are 3 movies that you own, that you have watched more that 5 times ---do you like/love those movies and if so, what attracts you to them?"""""

I own "The Wedding Date- love Dermot Mulroney so that's why I've watched it many times.  Chronicles of Narnia-The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe", fan of CS Lewis and loved the book so I had to get the movie after I rented it.  Mr Magorium's Wonder Emporium with Dustin Hoffman and Natalie Portman- tho intended for kids, I love the movie's theme and how it kind of takes me to this magical place.  It's one of those movies that make you sad then inevitably, happy

 Good morning Stacey -

I've got the teapot on for my Protein Hot Chai Tea.  Then will find a carby breakfast before the race today.  Looks like it's going to be a bit more chilly than we'd hoped for so will need to break out the sweat shirt.

QOTD -- "Anne of Green Gables" - all 3 in the series.  "Pretty in Pink" and "Pretty Woman"

Good morning!  I'm lazing about in my pj's and letting the guys sleep in for once!  It's been kind of a lazy weekend, and I'm trying to not feel guilty about that.

Good luck at the race today!

QOTD-I don't ever buy movies.  In fact, it drives me crazy to sit through something I have already seen.  I just can't comprehend people that buy boxed sets of TV shows.  Once  you've seen them, you've seen them.  I know I'm in the minority....otherwise they wouldn't sell so many DVDs, right?   The one exception for me would be Sex and the City.  I saw the movie at the theater and then got it on PPV.  I also watch a few of the episodes that are my favorites, but there are only a couple of those.

Hope you all have a good day!

Good Morning!!
I am just chillin today with Stac..aka BFF haha
I just cleaned the bathroom and going to get my hair cut this afternoon. Thinking about walking the dogs too. We will see how motivated  we are later.  Had coffee already and we got some cool flavors at a coffee shop- like french kiss, coconut hazelnut, cookie crumble and one other.  They are soooooooooo good!!

Have a great day- hope the sun comes out later.

Shannon

QOTD-  3 movies would be Dumb and Dumber, Tommy Boy and Casino.  I love a good comedy and a good mob movie :)

Hi Everyone.  Since I'm pre-op still I had skim milk and french toast with sf syrup.  At least I did sf syrup and skim milk.  Where did spring go.  Yesterday during our house showing it was snowing outside and my crocuses didn't know what to do! :)

QOD:  Funny Girl, (aging myself) Sound of Music, Pretty Woman, Ghost
I don't own any on DVD, I jus****ch the re-runs on TV.  My hubby has DVD's of Everybody loves Raymond and Sex in the City so we watch them when we're up north and only have 3 TV channels.

Randy,

It was nice to finally meet you.  You and Deb finished about 200 places in front of us, but about 8 minutes head of us.

This was a first rance for 3 of the 5 of us today.  Pam and Kristy have walked the 5k before, and  we all set out for one goal, which was to finish.

I never relized it was such a big event.

Hello everyone!!

Brrrrrrrrr.....it is cold out there today!!  I'm still trying to get the hang of 'post op' eating.  I have a hard time getting all my liquids in and all my protien in.  I know from reading on OH that it does get better, but I wish I could get my protien in at least.  Or all my water in at least.  I just feel FULL all the time.

QOTD:   Steel Magnolia, StepMom, Pretty Woman..... :-)

Can you drink the protien water type drinks and count that as your liquids and protien?  That's what I thought I might do when the time comes.

Hi~

Yeah, you can do that, but I just have a hard time getting it all in.  I used to be able to 'gulp' but since surgery I can just 'sip' so it takes longer to get the shakes down.  I bought some EAS shakes which are 17 grams of protien for 11 oz..  I need to be better about drinking my protien shakes b/c you can't possible get in your protien with the limited amount of food you are able to eat  -  2 TBSP protien 3x a day!
