Looking for Support Group in Livonia

Hi

I'm seven years out and I've gained  8 lbs in the last few weeks. I know it's been a long winter, but I feel like I'm out of control and can't get going in the right direction. I haven't been to a support meeting in over a year.  I moved into the area last year and I know I need to get back to a support group.

I attend a support group in Livonia. I can't remember the name of the Library it is held at, it is on Plymouth road just East of Farmington Rd. The session is held on the second Monday of the month at 6:30 to 8:00 pm. We have it in the basement. So April 13th is the next one, and we are supposed to have a guest speaker too, he is a plastic surgeon at the Barix clinic.

I am pretty sure St Marys Hospital has a group but not sure when . You can call them and find out.  Best of luck

I'm planning on coming to the meeting on the 13th.  Is the P.S. from barix Dr. DiNick?  I've had two surgeries by him. He is wonderful. Going to see him in a few weeks for a checkup and see about having another surgery.

The library is Alfred Noble Public Library in Livonia on Plymouth Rd - just east of Farmington Rd.  Meeting will be from 6 pm - 7:30 pm.  I will post information on the meeting coming on the 13th of April.

Yeah, that is the name!

I was informed the day after I told you that it was switched to 6pm. I do not remember who the surgeon is. I don't think I was paying much attention to his name. Sorry

The Canton Support Group meetings are in Canton on Canton-Center Rd, just south of Ford Rd.

Our April meetings are:  Saturday, the 4th from 10am to noon & Wednesday the 15th from 7:30pm to 9pm.
