OK.....So what did I miss????

Thanks Edie.  My symptoms were that nothing would go down.  Anything I would drink or eat would feel like it was stuck.  Major abdominal pain and vomiting.  So much pain you can't even stand up straight.  Both times my pain was in the upper abdomen.  You'd think I'd be safe after being 5 years post op.  It is a pretty scary thing to go through when you don't know what is going on.

Hey Crystal!  Thanks for the well wishes.  I don't know why - bad luck?  I've been thinking about you lately.  How are you?  Are things any better?

Wow, you sure must love the attention!!!  2 obstructions and your throat spasms, yikes.  Glad to hear that you're out and about again and it seems like this one was maybe a little 'easier' than last time.  

Hang in there and if I ever get an obstruction I know who to call for advice/support!  Hope you get back on your feet soon, it just won't be the same for my check-up if you're not there.

Trust me, this is not the attention I want!!!  So glad I did not need surgery.  As much as I love Dr. Pop - don't want to ever go through that again.  This one was definitely easier.  I was surprised the hospital admitted me right away.  Last time it took a series of 5 days and 3 trips to the ER.  Here's hoping to an uneventful, healthy rest of '09.

hi carey!!! LOL yes its been a long time!!! i am doing great and loving life once again!!! got me a new man and he is so in love with me and me with him!!!! i love it here in ohio and would never move back to michigan again!!! weight is holding at 185-190 so i guess i am all through losing the weight...been at this weight now for over a year so i am happy if this it where it stops...my goal was to be under 200 pounds again and i am there....but if the weight wants to come off more i will take it...LOL i can do so many things now that i couldn't before...we went for a walk day before yesterday and i was telling rick that 3 years ago i would have been gasping for air and sweating like a pig!!! life is good!!!!!!

LOL nope rick is NOT "the" neighbor!! my neighbor brought his old girlfriend to see him and she ended up moving there from virginia!!! rick i met online in a nascar chat room several years ago and we have chatted for about 6 years almost every night/day and finally met over a year ago and we hit it off and started traveling back and forth from ohio to michigan and michigan to ohio....he moved in with me in michigan but couldn't find a job so i tried looking for one here in ohio and i got one!!! i am now working full time and have benefits to boot!!! i am woman hear me roar!!!! ;) YES!!!! i am very happy here with rick and feel so much love from this man like i never had before in my life!! ahhh life IS good!!!! i have his picture on my profile if you want to go look.
