OK.....So what did I miss????

So can you believe this....I've been in the hospital since Friday for another obstruction!!!!!!!  OMG - this time (being the second time) I knew what was going on and I stopped eating and drinking and went to the hospital.  They admitted me and kept me till today.  I guess it worked itself out....I didn't need to have surgery this time.  But OMG - did I remember that pain from almost 2 years ago.  Feeling better....hope it all goes away.  Anyone deal with this like me???  Just curious.  My good friend KP helped me that last time.  Just curious what anyone else has experienced.

Holy crapola Carey!  Thank goodness you are okay.  I wondered where you were at my appt on Saturday.  Someone said you were upstairs.... did they mean admitted upstairs???  I have never had an obstruction but I'll tell you what, I am terrified that it will happen to me.

Actually, I was in Windsor.  I was at MET hospital.  Now you know, I'd have to have a damn good reason not to be at work on a Saturday.  It is not a fun time - hope you never experience it.

I am so sorry to hear about this happening to you again. Did they find out what is causing this with you or no?

Thanks Suzanne - trust me, it was one of my first questions....WHY?????  No particular reason.  I'm going to consult with one of my favorite docs - Dr. Pop when I see him.  I stayed home one day.  I'm back to work today.

I'm so sorry that happened to you.  And twice, that sucks, but I'm glad your home.  I hope your recovery goes well.

Can you tell me what your signs and symptoms were???  I've been lucky, but would like to know what to look for...just in case.
