Well, I am home from work with a sick kid. That change-of-weather sore throat that always comes this time of year.
I had a great weekend. Did you?
Not drinking anything right now, but will start on some Crystal Light later.
QOTD: Do you find it hard to tell your non-surgery friends and family about people and/or posts on the message board? I have in the past. My family thinks that I found a bunch of quacks online that will give me bad advice. But they have gotten used to me saying "I read on the message board that so and so did this.......". This weekend I hung out with the girls I met here and my mom said "You went shopping with the board girls?" Well, I hope they weren't bored.....LOL

In face, when I wonder out loud about something ("wonder how many carbs people eat at xxmonths out" or "wonder if this is normal", blah, blah), DH always asks if I've asked the board folks. He's been on here a couple of times too, so knows how full of info folks are. :)

Shopping was fabulous. Brenda, make sure you tell your 'dear' DH how bushed we all were! LOL!! Sorry the son is sick...hope you can steer clear of it!

Weekend was great. Had a nice relaxing Sunday at home with hubby. We took back the recycling. In the past month, with baby furniture, new living room furniture and other new baby stuff, we've collected a small mountain of cardboard that had taken up residence in my dining room. So we took care of that and "cruised" around for a while. It was such a nice day, we just decided to take a ride...in the car.
When I talk about OH to non-surgery people, I generally just refer to it as an online support group. That way people "get it". Hubby understands because he's met my friends from the board. He's probably the only non-surgery person I talk about OH with, in depth.

Top of the morning to you, We had a great weekend we did a 3 mile walk and a 5 mile bike ride. Trails still have ice on them in spots. But this warm weather should get rid of it soon. I'm drinking my old stand by.QOTD....... Deb reads the board all the time. she even posts here under my name and hers... I don't think anyone know her user name?
