Has anyone stayed in or know what the Blodgett hospitality rooms are like?  (Where Grand Health Partners does surgery.)  I've stayed in the Rennuci (spelling?) House at the old Butterworth hospital and those are very nice, but the Blodgett ones are just old rooms turned into hospitality rooms from what I understand.
My mom is scared to drive in the city, so we are staying right at the hospital this time as she will have to drive us home and won't want to be out driving around to another hotel and such.  :)

If you look at my friends for Judy. I cant remember her full screen name - I think her husband stayed at one. Send her a PM.

If you are planning to have your Mom stay in one of the hospitality rooms you need to book it far in advance.....they go really fast.

Even though this is an old post, I thought I'd give an update.  The Blodgett hospitality rooms were awesome!  When I registered, I was told the two rooms had to share a shower in the hall but each room had a separate bath/shower room.  You  are given a pass card to your room and your extra room to shower in.  There is a bathroom in the room also, just not the shower.  They were like regular hotel rooms right in the hospital.  We were very happy with them.  A small refrigerator, TV, and carpeting.

My sister and I stayed in one of those rooms the night before my surgery.  I agree that it was nicely made over and SO convenient, but I had a devil of a time sleeping in that twin bed!  Most of it was nerves, I'm sure, but I don't think I even got an hour of sleep.
