Thursday Morning Coffee

Good Morning Michigan!
It's time to wake up and smell the coffee! I've always liked that saying.
What's in your cup this morning? I've brewed my usual and it sure tastes good. Heading shortly for a kick-butt work-out with the water aerobics slave driver...... Small dusting of snow this morning.
QOD-What's the one thing that you've bought that you wish you wouldn't? Being a WLS alumni, I wish I wouldn't have bought a scale. It is so tempting to make that the main thing in my weight loss journey, but it isn't. There are too many other important changes that need to be acknowledged, like measurements, activity level, etc......... But I can't throw it away. I really have a love for kitchen gadgets, too. I have so many that I really don't need and shouldn't have bought.....
Have a great Thursday.
Deb
PS-Randy I have mushroom envy-I love morels and wish I could find them...

Good morning Deb.I just finished some Kashi cereal and yogurt. After my waiting period I will have some diet hot cocoa, only 25 calories,6 sugars and 3 protein.Add milk instead of water and I get 11 protein.I havent bought any good gadgets yet.I have a scale but dont use it often reads incorrectly, like 20 something pounds lighter than I am,wishful thinking.I will brave the frigid weather and go for a walk in a bit.Cannot hit the gym later son has basketball game, cannot wait to scream and cheer being an embarrassing parent is grand.Have a great day everyone.Hey Randy I miss ya.Hope you are well.

I like that saying also. But alas i love the smell but hate the taste of coffee. I am drinking gnc absopure this am and of course water. Will have a carbmaster yougurt (12g protein and only 3g of sugar and lowfat)for breakfast.

QOD-Back in the late 90's i bought a new Trans Am Firebird, beautiful red in color and loaded with options. But only one big problem,i needed a crane to follow me around to enter and to exit the car!!!! But now if i had it i could get in and out with ease.

Good Morning!
Kind of dragging today....I went out with some friends and stayed out too late last night.

I had some cereal for breakfast and now I'm drinking water.

I bought a lot of clothes when I hit a certain size.  (Some of you may remember my "So long Lane Bryant" post)  I don't think I'll ever fit in to those again, and I wish I would have waited to buy so much.  I think I'll pretty much stay the size I am now, so this weekend it's off to buy more clothes!

Hope you all have a fun, exciting, productive, and wonderful day!

We have an AWESOME spot for Morels.  Only me, my FIL and my hubby know about it.  However, I could never find it on my own.  Anyway, 2 years ago, we went out one day and brought back 76 MORELS!!!! From one spot!  My FIL and hubby ate them all!  I like to hunt for em, but not to eat them!

Randy, you are like most mushroomers-top secret. DH and I used to have a place where we went. Now it is a subdivision :-(.
Sure do love those morels..

Ok what is so special about those kinds of mushrooms?  Not being a fan of fungus, I just don't get it.  Please enlighten me.

Hey Brenda - I think they are really expensive mushrooms.  I do love mushrooms but I think I've tasted those once.  I remember them looking pretty funky looking.  I don't think you can find them in a normal grocery store.

Yeah, I wasn't too impressed with the taste of them.  I asked the same question when I first went out and "hunted" them.  That's what I like doing.  I don't really like to eat them.  According to my bro-in-law, they are like $50 a pound.  So when I found that out, I was like "DON'T EAT THEM!!!!"  But my father in law and hubby gobbled em right up!  And yeah, I never see them in a "normal" grocery store.
