Fish, Yuck!  I remember being a child and sitting for HOURS at the table refusing to eat fish.  All because my folks had [4] 50 gallon fish tanks with oscars, gars, neons, those fish that look like sharks.....

Hey Everyone!

Drinking my raspberry iced tea and eating strawberries today for breakfast. I tend to get in a rut and eat the same thing all the time so I am trying to break out of that.

I have lots of errands today, and I have a Drs appt at 12. These days are okay but I would rather be running around shopping instead of errands.

I have eaten ostrich jerky when I was in Frankenmuth. I tend to not eat alot of weird things, I don't like fish much but I will eat lobster. I cannot even eat clam chowder! I have not even eaten deer meat and I live in Michigan.. It is a cardinal sin here ya know LOL

Have a great day everyone!

I'm done with coffee for today.I have two cups every morning and if any is left in the pot I have iced coffee later in the day.Nothing going on today, tomorrow my husband has a blood draw and an appointment with the Oncologist. We just got the papers today, the next three kemo treatments are going to be in Milwaukee.I still have my suitcase packed from the last trip,I'm afraid to unpack. We were coming back from Milwaukee the day before Christmas in an awful snow storm. We were 50 miles from home when my cell phone rang  they wanted him back in Milwaukee, this was on Wednesday,I tried talking them into waiting until Monday.Nope,we ended up traveling back 250 miles Christmas Day back to Milwaukee..He had to check in on Friday which was a Federal Holiday for government employees, they were there waiting for him at 7 AM.They called in whoever they needed tstart treatments on him.Thats when we found out he had stage 4 small cell lung cancer.Needless to say the stress level here is high! I ate an oyster,it slid down real slick LOL.I love the flavor of oysters in soup but don't think I'd ever eat another one!

Hey all you Michiganders,

It must have been a Benedryl night last night!  I'm going to take it for a few more nights until I get used to the time change.  I was asleep by 10:30 and slept right past the alarm at 6:30!  I don't remember the time change effecting me so much, oh well I'll get used to it (my luck I'll get used to it by...oh... mid October .

Q:  I'm like the majority here, I'm pretty much a wimp.  BUT, I am allergic to shell fish and the biggest hot wimp walking, so that narrows some of the odd stuff out there to try, but honestly, I don't really think that would matter much, I'm just a wimp!  Pam E holly molly girl you are adventurous!!!  My hubby would love to go out to dinner with you!

Gussie, I hope things turn around for your hubby and he starts responding to his treatment.

Have a great day all,

Edie
