Morning all,

Got some regular coffee lightened and sweetened.  Getting ready to head to Birch Run to do some shopping.  My 24 year old neice is going with me, so it should be a hilarious day.

Gotta get some food in before I leave, but not sure what sounds good this morning.

Hope everyone has a great day.

Pam

PS did you remember to spring forward last night?

Howdy Pam and everyone else.
Just had some eggs and sf chocolate milk with my son.

I have to go to a baby shower today, and I'm not looking forward to going out in all of this rain.  At least it's not snow!

We're going to Birch Run next weekend!  I hope I find something because I got so mad yesterday while I was shopping that I didn't get anything except clothes for the kids.  It seems they took the skin from my TT and glued it to my ass and thighs LOL

Hope everyone has a great day!

Good morning everyone!

today I'm drinking my 'wild berry drinks' all day long.  That is all I can have today since TOMORROW IS MY SURGERY!!!!  I'm so excited, nervous, all of that.  The only thing I am scared of is not waking up.   I am not afraid of the surgery itself, I feel like if have read and researched and read and researched more!!  I am very comfortable with my decision about having surgery.  I know being nervous is very normal so I'm just trying to stay busy today and get the house in order, etc...

Please say some prayers for me guys!

You'll have lots of prayers from me.  I'll hope for the same when my surgery time comes.  I'm sure you've waited quite a while for this and know it's the right thing to do.  You will wake up, think about it that way..

Aww, thanks Jani, that is a MUCH more positive way of thinking about it!!!   When I wake up, I will not complain about the pain LOL :-)  I will be so happy to be on the losers bench and will thank god for this new tool!   Thanks for your thoughts and prayers!  You know I will do the same for you when your time comes.  You're right, I've waited a long day for this day to come....I can't believe it is finally here!

When did you start the process?  I got insurance approval, after an appeal, in December 2008.  Tuesday I go for my orientation/education class and make an appointment to meet with a surgeon.  I'm not sure what happens after that, or how long it will take.  I'm hoping to have my surgery sometime by May or June.  I tend to get impatient, but I know this isn't something to rush into, so I'll just pray to God for strength and patience.  I'll be thinking of you tomorrow (while I'm sitting in the Dentist's chair)  :)  I'd much rather be having surgery than having my tooth drilled on!

I actually went to the first seminar Sept 29th.  I did Aetna's 3 mo multidisciplinary program.  I was approved on Jan 27th.  So really, it has taken me a little over 5 months.  I'm glad I had the time because it really gave me time to research....mainly read OH forums and I hae learned so much in the process.   Good luck to you!  I know your time will come soon!   You made me laugh about the dentist :-)

Yes the day before surgery can be very nervewracking....so much to look forward to!

I'll keep you in my thoughts tomorrow.  Here's to an uneventful surgery and recovery!

Oh and have someone get on here and update us!
