Greek Yogurt-Flint area
Meijer's and Walmart usually carry a Greek yougurt called Fage you can buy one that has zero fat that has 15 grams of protein. I like to mix a little International Sugar free instant coffee into it or, applesauce or a couple of teaspoons of instant sugar free pudding. Some times you can find one called Oiska or something like that but it is harder to find maybe Meijers quite carrying it.

I live in Traverse City and my Meijer has greek yogurt. I just started noticing it there. I don't know if they carry the fat free. But I do know that you can go on Meijers website and email your local grocery manager and ask them to carry it. If they are carrying it in other meijers across the state they can get it for your store too. Just have to hope others buy it so they will keep getting it. Also maybe they can order it for you.
In my store it was on the top shelf in the section with all the other yogurt. The tubs don't look like regular yogurt tubs in my opinion mor like small cottage cheese tubs without a lid. You should go to the fage website to see what they look like, maybe that will help you recongnize them. Ours were on one end of hte yogurt display and not in themiddle and only on the top shelf.
I see you are in Davidson. If you wanted to go to Trader Joe's you could take a short run down to Rochester. It's the closest one. I'm thinking fo heading down there sometime soon. 3044 Walton Blvd Rochester, MI 48309 Phone: 248-375-2190

I tried the greek yougurt from Meijers yesterday,YUCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKKK! and $1.39 for it. Do yourself a favor and go to the Kroger store on M-15 in Davison and get the Kroger Carbmaster brand. Tastes 100% better and is only .39!! And if you look at the #'s it is almost as good at the grrek yougurt has 20g of sugar and cabmaster 3,protein is 15 for greek and 13 for carbmaster. But hey maybe your tastebuds are different.

The plain greek yogurt isn't really meant to be eaten straight out of the carton like the flavored yogurt (strawberry, etc.) It's generally used in place of sour cream, etc. in recipes. The greek that is flavored (honey, etc.) does have added sugar, so I wouldn't recommend it for us.
The eggface website gives lots of recipes for dips and sauces using the plain greek yogurt.
