Good Morning.  I'm at work, doing the same old same old.  You know what?  It's still cold!  I'm tired of hearing about warm ups....I'm still wearing gloves, so it's not warm!

We have so many newbs coming up.....is everyone ready to answer questions?

Well, I'm off to the fun and exciting world of business management.  What are you up to today?

Morning Brenda!
I haven't posted in a bit, so thought I'd get in on the morning round up.  I'm at work, getting settled in (i.e., catching up on all the boards), drinking my decaf.

I'm officially 2 months out today!  The lost has been going slower than I had originally thought it would, but I'm down 30 since surgery as of today (and 52 in all) - so I'm fairly pleased with that.  Will go in for my 2mo appt in about 2 weeks (Dr. B is/was/will be out of town until then).  All in all, I've been happy with things and feeling pretty good!

Wow!  30lbs. in 2 months is great!
I was surprised to hear that my follow up appointment would be with Bill.  I thought he was doing something different with the program.  I will get to meet the new NUT then, too.  I will miss Patti :(

I don't know who Bill is?  I will also miss Patti  :(   she was great, even though I only knew her for a short time.  My follow up is supposed to be with Dr B (I have a huge crush on him  ;)   and Pam.  I want to meet the new NUT though - seems like that's where most of my questions fall and w/o having met her, I'm more reluctant to call/email - which i felt totally comfortable doing with Patti...   Have you been going to the support group meetings?  I haven't made one yet post-op - not sure what they'd be like with someone new running them...

That's funny....I have never met Pam.  I think Bill did what Pam does now?  Not too sure about that.
I only saw Dr. B for my 2 week follow up visit.  I saw him briefly for my 1 year and that was it.

I stopped going to support group when I started to gain some weight.  It's too hard for me to go and be all happy and positive for the newbies and see people that have had their surgery way before me and are complaining that they can't stop losing weight.  It's too depressing for me to sit through that!

Morning

I am just getting ready to make my toast and head out the door to work. I hope it is busier than it looked on Tuesday. Last week we were swamped so I am hoping we keep busy today. I hate sitting there doing nothing. Tomorrow I get to work at the schools so I am happy.

It looks like it is not warming up to any of our standards. I will be happy when the tempature breaks 50. LOL I want some warm weather so I can wear my capris and my flip flops. LOL

Have a great day everyone!

Who are you "toasting"?  Oh, wait, you literally mean like TOAST, as in bread...LOL!  I had my english muffin this AM and a bit of coffee. Had to move onto my water pretty early again today.  Trying to play catch up.  I feel so crappy when I haven't had my water!  Pretty much on a daily basis, I only drink water besides my cup of coffee in the morning.

Not up to much today.  Just the exciting world of 5th grade!  This is OT but I find it so funny that this age group is OBSESSED with morbid stuff.  I swear, when I give them free writing time they all try to write the grossest "horror" story.  In my 10 years of teaching, I have found that with every 4th/5th/6th grade I've taught.  Interesting!

Enjoy the day!  Tina

Every time you or Suzanne post that you are eating an english muffin I am so jealous.  I love those things but can't eat anything for breakfast that I like or I will for sure gain weight.  Waaaahhhaaa.
I think with the kids, it's like they are trying to prove that stuff like that doesn't scare them any more.  At least that's how it was when my son went through that phase.  I don't know how you do it every day. I took the 3rd and 4th graders to camp and it just about killed me.  Boys that age are trouble!!
