Good Morning Michiganderings!

I'm at work, waiting for my water to defrost.  I threw a bottle in the freezer yesterday (my last one) to get cold and forgot about it.  We have a Brita filter in the frige in the shop, but it's really dirty and nasty so I am NOT drinking out of it.  So I wait for the thaw........

I made my 3 year post op appointment yesterday!  I can't believe it's been this long.  I also tried to sleep in my bed last night, but that just isn't going to happen any time soon.  I guess it's back to the Lazy Boy for me!

So what's up with you today?  Anything going on?  Huh?

Good morning!!!! I am at work waiting for 10 so I can go get my blood drawn for my 6 month post op appt.

Hopefully your water thaws out soon!!!!

tonight the hubby, kids and I are going to the Griffin's Hockey game here in GR. This is our 4th or 5th game on one set of tickets!!! We bought tickets for New Years Eve, which happened to fall on a Wednesday night. They have a Winning Wednesdays promotion and if they win, you get tickets to their next Wednesday night game. So far this year they have won every Wednesday night game. Tonight is the last one!

And here I am thinking its ONLY Wednesday.  Not much happening for me, I tried Randy's suggestion of eating something before drinking this AM, and so far so good.  Looking forward to the weekend and sleeping until 7 AM!

Just stopping in for a quick Hi.

Had my coffee and 20 oz of water.  Have some Cinnamon hot tea seaping.  Have some big wigs coming in today, so I will be busy "entertaining" all the questions.

Looks like a start to a nice day.

Good morning.  I abandoned my coffee this morning and my breakfast because I just wasn't feeling good.  I know it's because I didn't get all my water in yesterday and ate too much junk. BLAH...so I've had my first 32oz and already feel much better.

WOW 3 years Brenda....WOO HOO!!

I am doing the same old same old today.  This weekend my family and I are heading to downtown Detroit for the Autorama at Cobo.  Not too thrilled about going to Autorama, but it should be a fun time with my sis and bro, spouses and all the nephews.  Our plan is to go to Greektown Casino and take the people mover.  Any recommendations for a good restaurant in Greektown or near the casino?  Or anywhere, really?  Oh and does anyone know if you can still take the elevator to the top of the Ren Cen?  We want to take my nephews up there.

Enjoy the day! Tina

Tina,

I ate at Fishbones last weekend.  They are cajun based...allot of seafood.  I had an appetizer, I think it was called steak and blue, or something like that.  It was grilled steak with grilled tomatoes, and blue cheese, it was YUMMY.

Hmmmmm....cajun scares me.  That usually means HOT AND SPICY!  Although, my family loves hot and spicy.  Did you think the menu was heavy on the "cajun" part?

I'd have to say yes...however, I am the biggest wimp I've ever met when it comes to spicy food and I've eaten there quite a few times, so it's not hard to find something to eat.

My friend that I was with (we went to the dog show) had fish and chips (no spice), she gave me a few bites of her cole slaw and I "stole" a few fries, so my meal was well rounded LOL.  Personally, I'd go back there again for my steak, it was Wonderful!, not cheap, but wonderful.  The appetizer was $12 !!!, but I didn't fini**** so it was plenty for us, I didn't want leftovers, considering I'd have to carry it around.

But it's pretty good, and if you  don't want  Greek, it's a good option down there.

Have fun,

Edie
