Awwww, thanks!  I needed to hear that right now.  I so badly wanted to eat something this weekend but the big bold letters on the bottom of my insruction sheet says 'non-compliance will result in cancellation of surgery'     that's what'd keeping me honest.....I've worked to hard to get this far, I'm not chancing it - LOL  although I'm sure many people cheat a little on their pre-op diet and still had their surgery.

I'm just looking forward to the day when I can take a little bite of food again....even if it's pureed!

First of all, I would like to thank my GOOD FRIEND,  PAM E. for trying to rename my nickname to B.....

Suzanne -
I have NO idea what they plan on doing.  As Tina stated above, he is a Uniball.  His one 'umm ya know hangy thingy' hasnt descended, so they have to explore inside for it.  I am sure he will be cut like the females are cut.  I have a quick consult with the doctor when I drop him off tomorrow and I will inquire about the glue instead.  He is very hyper.  As I type this I can hear him boxing the new couch with his front paws.  He is very strong.  Thank you for the advice, I do appreciate it.  Just trying to remember that he is first an animal, dog, breed, then name, right???  Exercise, discipline, then affection.... someone send cesar to my house and quick!

Your very welcome.

B seems more appropriate because you just seem to buzz around.

Oh yeah a uniballer will have to have an incision like that. LOL But he might still be able to glue him instead LOL..

It will be interesting to hear how he does with trying to stay calm the first few days after surgery. ROFL.

Who is your vet can I ask? We hear different stories about all the vets in the area so I was just wondering. If you dont want to share it is okay.

 Hey,
I only had 5 lbs of skin removed and it was probably about 3-4 weeks post up until I started to really see that on the scale.  I had lost 10 additional pounds but have put 5 back on. Stupid choices -- but now that I'm back exercising it's starting to come back off.
I know I had pounds and pounds of swelling and I still probably have a couple of pounds left.  Maybe you're luckier than I am but I still have swelling and was told I'd be swollen for about 6 months.
I'm so glad to be back exercising, forgot how good it makes me feel!
Hang in there and glad to know you're healing well
