Judy, I agree about Dr. Gazayerli.  I went as my friend's 'sister' because she had no family to go with her.  I thought he was a very nice surgeon and since he had the same surgery he was very knowledgeable.  I'll forward your recommendation on to my friend about making her appointments with the tech.  I told her she ought to get out here on this site so she can use it as a support group.  She has absolutely no support groups where she lives.

I WISH IT WERE SUNDAY!
CUZ THAT'S MY FUNDAY!
I DON'T HAVE TO RUN DAY!

My weekend was busy, but in a good way.  My old couch has a new home and I now have a new couch and recliner.  YAY!

I had a little bit of coffee this AM on the way to work and now I'm drinking water and OJ (have to take my iron).  I had an english muffin on my way to work and will have my oatmeal, shortly.

Doing the same old school stuff today.  I hope the weather begins to warm up soon.  My class is getting SO antsy.  They need to go outside and play!

Enjoy the day! Tina

Good Morning,

No coffee for me either.  Tummy is upset, guess it is nerves.  My husbands niece, who is 21, posted some nasty things on her myspace about me.  When my husband brought it up to her mother, and explosion happened between the two familys.  Nasty emails are flying from them and the only person that it is really hurting is my MIL who lives with us.  Her two youngest sons are not speaking and his adult children are acting like 2 year olds

Anyway, it has not been a pleasant week for me.  Hopefully it all quiets down soon.

I am working on some peppermint tea.  Maybe venture to some oatmeal in a while.  See how the tummy is feeling.   I have an apple and cheese stick for a snack and some soup for lunch and yogart for my afternoon snack.  Trying to keep it kind of mild.

Hope everyone has a great day.

Oh Pam...I'm sorry this kind of junk is going on in your life.
I can't believe anyone would have anything bad to say about you....you're so sweet!
Try not to let it bother you!

Thanks,

It has been wearing on me for a few days, and I haven't been posting.  I haven't been eating much, maybe I should jump on the scale and see if it has moved, that would make my day.

Thanks Pam,

Wi**** would blow over quickly, but it is hard, when they live right next door to you.  It is my poor MIL that is the one that will suffer.  They won't come and see her because of it.  Their loss.

Thanks,

I need to shake it off and consider the source that it is coming from.  As someone recently pointed out, you can pick your friends but not your family.

This event transpired over the fact that my husband's niece who is planning a big wedding for August 09 went and got married right after Christmas so that she could stay in school.  Apparently she maxed out her student loans, and pulled all the grant money available under her parents income level.  The school told her if she was married before the end of the year, she would fall under her new husbands income (which is part time at pizza hut), she would be eligible for alot more assistance.  So they tried to hide getting Married.  Her marrige license came out in the paper, I called and let her know that she might want to pick up a paper for keepsake reasons, and I got blamed for telling all the family members.  Lets just say, its not a family of rocket scientists.  She is 21 and posted a nasty blog on her my space, which was spotted by my niece who called to let me know.  Now it is all my fault because I ruined her big wedding.  Blah blah blah. And it has went downhill from there.    Grow up please.

Thanks for letting me vent, it has helped.  Mindless for most but theraputic for me.

Pam, aren't families wonderful?  We all have our favorite family members to deal with.  I hope this blows over for you soon.  what a great example of "no good deed goes unpunished"!
