Easy Like Sunday Morning and coffee

Good Sunday Morning All!

I am drinking s/f apple koolaidy stuff.  Pretty tasty.  I have some coffee upstairs that I am thinking of drinking soon.  I am going to format this thread as Randy used to do.

QOTH:  How often do you weigh in?  Newbies?  Old timers?


I weigh in every Monday.  I now have a spread sheet that tracks my BMI too.  I dread it but it needs to be done.  If not, I will turn a blind eye to my lack of progress.  Sometimes, when you don't lose that fast, its easier to just ignore the scale or avoid it. How about you???  Do you enjoy stepping on the scale now?  I used to! lol.

Today, my couch is coming-yay!  I will be prepping the basement to fit it.

Good morning.I am eatiing a small bowl of cereal.I weigh in two times weekly and the last two weeks I havent lost anything so I decided I wont weigh again until I visit my doc on the 10th because your right it is very discouraging.I have eighty more punds to lose and I think it may never happen.I started a food log yesterday so I hope I am on the right track.Have a great weekend.

Okay, wait, you have lost 106 lbs already???????????  Holy crap!  You are doing amazing! Its only been a few months girlie!!!!  You are rocking your tool.

I am still greedy lol.I lost 57 of that before surgery.But I have still lost 49 since.Its like I have lost everything except my belly.I guess I just want over night success.Thanks.

Good Morning!  Eating my Kashi cereal and then I'm off to get things done today.  Gonna take my son out for dinner later.

I weigh myself every day.  It's a bad habit I got in to right after my RNY.  It was so fun to hop on the scale and see it going down every day.  Now, it usually stays the same or goes up, which isn't very fun, but I can't get out of that habit of getting out of bed and jumping on the scale.  It's actually funny to watch.  My weight can go up by as much as 6 lbs. from one day to the next.  Then it will drop back a little.  I do keep track on Fitday so I can see my overall progress.

Couch?  Did somebody say couch?   I'll call you when we we're on our way.  What's the parking situation at your house?  We'll have this trailer and I doubt AJ will want to back it in seeing as how you're on a busy road.  Is there parking on the road?  

I just drank a little OJ to take my iron.  I got my bloodwork back from my jelly bean test and my sugar is fine.  Thryoid is fine, but my iron is low...as usual.  So I have to GET BETTER AT TAKING MY IRON DILIGENTLY!  Plus I'm trying to eat iron rich foods.  I'm just glad there are no signs of gestational diabetese.  YAY!

Since I've been pregnant, I weigh myself daily.  I know I'm supposed to gain weight while I'm pregnant, but I don't want it go up too much.  I initially lost 10 pounds within three weeks of finding out back in Sept.  I haven't gained all of that 10 pounds back, yet, so I'm happy.  My OB has no concerns with my weight loss/gain, either.  I'm getting ready to start my 3rd tri-mester and right now DUB should be about 2 pounds.  They say that you can expect to gain 1 pound a week now.  EEK!  That kinda freaks me out a bit.  Apparently, my metabolism has kicked into overdrive, though as I eat A LOT because I'm hungry A LOT, relative to a WLS person, but yet my weight has stayed down.  I have noticed, lately though, that as the baby grows (and my belly), I eat very much like I did early post op.  A few bites and I'm full.  So I eat very often throughout the day.  

OK...I've rambled quite enough.  I feel like I should be up doing something.  Like, I have something planned today....hmmmm....what is it. Like there's something I need to take somewhere.  Something big....hmmmmm...oh, well...maybe it'll come to me later!

I'm drinking peach water.  I'm just not a coffee drinker.  I only got one quilt tied yesterday.  A social worker showed up at our door with kids while I was out  and hubby couldn't say no.  Hes almost as bad as I am about not saying no!   The kids come first here so  I'm gonna try again to finish tying the second quilt so I can take the quilt frame down.     Have a great Sunday everyone!!!
