Sleeping and coffee.....ahhhhhhhh!
Happy Saturday, everyone!
For those that don't know me, I'm notorious for making plans at the last minute....impromptu, spontaneous, fly by the seat of my pants, kinda person. So, true to form, about noon yesterday, I invited my sis-in-law and 3 nephews to a school fundraiser at the new Romulus Rec. Center, right by Metro airport. It was fun, even though I didn't swim (NONE of my bathing suits are fitting this 6 month preggo body, right now!). They have a "lazy river", water slide, kiddie pool with dump buckets, etc. My nephews (6,4,&3) played in the water from 5:30-9. I don't think they made it out of the parking lot, awake. Anyway, that was my Friday evening!
On top of all that fun last night, I slept in this AM.....felt good! I love Saturday mornings! Having my coffee and water now, simultaneously. I was kinda hoping someone would be bring me breaksfast in bed, but hubby didn't get the hint!

I got to sleep in too! The dog and kid woke me up at 7:30 and I gave DH enough dirty looks for him to tell me to go back to bed. I did immediately!
I'm having yogurt with Kashi cereal mixed in for breakfast. Nothing to drink yet.
The only thing on my agenda today is to spend some time trying to get all of the adhesive residue from my bandages off of my belly! Sounds fun, huh?
PS-To go along with Tina's post-Last year I we took the kids to a hotel in Dundee with a water park. I went down a water slide for the first time EVER! It was really fun! I was afraid that everyone would laugh at me before.....or I would get stuck in the tube. I guess that was one of my WOW moments. Also an "oh sh*t" moment, because I don't know how to swim! LOL
