Gee I am not trying to form a new group away from the one here in BC..I just thought of the few people I have meet on OH..would like to meet,...some live far away..I know for a fact there is a meeting on the 2nd Thursday of every Month at Lux's Restrurant on Capital Ave..which I went to and enjoyed...I still plan on attending that one..I was just trying to meet up with the ones that were living in other area...Please attend the one on the 12th of March..Sorry if there was a miss underrstanding..Love to meet all of our locals.............Hugs Bev
Oh Shelly...i felt so bad ..I got two email from local BC area people who wanted to go to a support group and wanted me to attend kzoo.......because they couldn't find one in BC..thats when it hit me ..that I didn't want to get away from your support group..I just wanted to meet with some of the newbies that are from Kzoo, GR, Charoltte..and surrounding areas..I never ever wanted to start a new group...Please ..forgive me .if that what you thought. I didn't have your email addy to explain....
I still plan on attending yours..not this month March..because of my surgery on the 10th.. but I will be back...sorry again for any miss understanding....Hugs Bev

you can never have too much support!! How exciting your surgery date is coming soon
keep us posted on how your doing and if you need anything. For those that are looking for a group in the B.C. area there is one that meets the 2nd Thursday of each month at Lux Cafe
on Capital Ave at 6:00 p.m.. The group is informal , members are at all different stages of the journey with different surgery types. Feel free to e-mail me with any questions.

Jill...Thats wonderful...I wish I could be there to meet you..but I am having my surgery on the 10th.. I went to my 1st support group meeting there on the 12th of Feb...and I meet some really really nice people..and they were very supportive..and easy to talk to ..so good luck with your approval..and hope to meet you soon...I also have Dr. Foote..was a wonderful man..See ya soon..Hugs Bev
Sounds like you have a group wish I was closer. There are groups here but, they are ran by Hurley. I'd love to go to a group and just talk with others and share, less formal.
BAND REMOVED 9-4-12-fought insurance to get sleeve and won! Sleeved 1/22/13! Five years out and trying to get that last 15 pounds back off.
Not sure where you location is...but thats what I was trying to do...Just have a coffee hour somewhere ...where newbies could talk about there surgerys..and just become new friends..not sure that is going to work..I guess we will just have to exchange emails..or chat threw this forum...I see you haver had your surgery..how do you feel???....Please write when you need a friend OK.?..we all them them.............Hugs Bev
