Afternoon all,
Oh am I ready for summer!!!! Can't wait, allot of work awaits, but at least the sun will be shinning, the birds will be chirping.....ahhhhhh I can't wait!
Q: I wish there was more support groups as well. I used a wl group out of Beaumont pre op(not the one Nick uses). My fav. Dr. left within weeks of my surg. and he was the only thing I liked about the entire group (well I do like the nut too, but don't really see her anymore), but the support group they have for post op's is extremely minimal, the same 3-5 people show up every week. I didn't really get much out of it, I get more out of the Yahoo and OH groups than I ever did there. I am going to try a new support group this weekend in Warren, but my gripe is that it's pretty far away and monthly. I'd like more options and frequency, and a bit closer would be nice.

Yes, I would like more than once a month to. I also would like to talk to other members and not just listen to a lecture. I go to three different ones now. The bad thing is all are on Monday and so are all the non WLS meetings I used to go to and have had to give up.
BAND REMOVED 9-4-12-fought insurance to get sleeve and won! Sleeved 1/22/13! Five years out and trying to get that last 15 pounds back off.
