What brings you to our lovely (but cold) state??? Have you lived here before? I was born and raised in Warren (a sub. of Detroit), then moved to Phoenix for 17 years, now I'm back and in Clarkston (a very northern sub. of Detroit).

I have a friend that lives in Goodrich, so I pass through Davison occasionally. When we first moved to Mi. my hubby was a traveling IT guy, he had to go to the city offices up there and work on their computer a few times, he said he really liked the people up there!

Well my mom was born and raised in East Detroit (Now East Pointe, but I am sure you knew that). I was born in Warren and my mom transplanted us to California when I was 3 years old. When I was 20 i moved back out here...I moved back to California for about 9 months in 2005-2006 and that is when I had my WLS...I moved back to Michigan because I married a man who lives here and we were not able to get the courts permission to take our kids out of state

I'm a real newbie and it is nice to have another "older" bander here. There are some really great ones on the MI board. I really enjoy learning from them. Hopefully you will post often so I can learn from you too.

BAND REMOVED 9-4-12-fought insurance to get sleeve and won! Sleeved 1/22/13! Five years out and trying to get that last 15 pounds back off.
